List of Jeanie Leddon's Reviews
This woman is a joke. She never looks closer than a few feet away. We had asked for years about a lump on the scalp that she kept dismissing as a lipoma. Well after being totally fed up switched drs, have had two spots on the scalp cut off for melanoma and this “lipoma “ is actually a very large rare cancer with very low survival rate. I’d strongly urge you find a different dr who actually will listen to concerns and investigate. Zero stars if it was possible.
My visit was at a Kaiser Permanente in Lafayette. My visit took over 3 weeks to get and I had to go to Layffetee for it to get in that soon; I live in Thornton. I was referred by another doctor who agreed I had ringworm to double check in it and get a prescription if necessary. During my 3 week wait I used Lamisil which had it mostly cleared it up but there were still 2 faint red circles that itch. I also wanted to have some spots on my arms checked out as skin cancer is common for males in my immediate family. This lady didn't look at anything from closer than 2ft away. She then told me she didn't think I had ringworm there were no sign of it (maybe a closer look would of been better) and tried to say it was something else even after I explained the Lamisil has it mostly cleared up and trying to get her to look at the 2 red circles. She was also wrong about the active ingredient in Lamisil. This was a complete waste of time and money. I want a refund. 0 Stars if I could.
Two stars because Dr. Leddon is skilled at her work and very thorough. Her bedside manner, however, is terrible. I had multiple appointments due to melanoma surgery. Most times I wasn't even greeted and she spoke about my condition to her assistant as if I wasn't in the room. When I had 30-40 staples removed she did it without numbing the surgery site...one of the most painful experiences of my life. I complained to the office manager and Dr. Leddon called me to say "Sorry you feel that way"....an empty apology with no acceptance of her personal responsibility or impact. I hope she will get some interpersonal communication training and how she treats patients. A little courtesy and consideration is not too much to ask.
Horrible! She left me waiting for a mole removal, with my clothes off, skin injected/numbed for almost 1.5 hours. I would have left, but I kept thinking that she would have to be in soon since my skin was numb, and I’m undressed. She gave no apology or explanation for leaving me there. Pretty sure I had been forgotten about. To make matters worse, I received ZERO follow up regarding whether or not my removal had clean margins. I will never go back. I have no confidence in her or her practice.
Dr. Leddon is professional, efficient, attentive, and kind. She patiently listened and waited for me to make up my mind about a treatment, and after providing the treatment with care, she warmly wished me well. I trust her opinions, and her vast knowledge and experience.
Dr Leddon was detailed in explaining what she found after examining me. Then offered me choices of treatment and made a suggestion of what she felt would be the best possible treatment. When I asked for her opinion. Excellent doctor. I was very impressed with Dr. Leddon that I took my son to see her for his condition too. I highly recommend Dr. Leddon.
My son went to see Dr Jeanie Leddon and her and her staff were great people. We actually went to the wrong office location first. Dr Leddon has 3 locations. Dr Leddon’s staff member said she will call the other office location (as we were going to head out) that we were still going to make our appointment. They accommodated us to ensure my son was seen and treated. Great doctor and staff.
I wrote a letter to this doctor complaining about service received. 10 minute visit. Complete patient history not collected. Wrong Scrip. $176 bill. No response.
Sounds like a duck. I agree with the reviews that this Doctor gives you two minutes of her time and is not responsive to patient issues. Incomplete medical history leads to wrong scrip. Had to schedule a different doctor the following week. Sent a complaint letter to the $176 bill with no reply.
I wish I had read these reviews before I went to see Dr. Leddon. I saw her for a condition diagnosed by my PCP that didn't seem to be clearing up as quickly as she expected. My PCP thought maybe a dermatologist would have some newer treatment that could help. Dr. Leddon hardly asked me any questions about my symptoms, she barely looked at my skin before she made a diagnosis in a very condescending way- completely lacking bedside manners and empathy. She obviously hadn't read anything her assistant noted about me before she came in, and she essentially denied that my PCP gave me an accurate diagnosis after I squeezed in an explanation of why I was referred to her. After I briefly explained the prior diagnosis and a summarized history, Dr. Leddon said she would take a biopsy if I wanted just to confirm her diagnosis (although she was quite sure she was correct). Although frustrated, at first I agreed, but after a couple minutes thinking about what she said, that statement seemed very conceited and it seemed like she would be happy to take my money even though she was extraordinarily confident in her new diagnosis. I realized I did not like nor did I trust this woman at all. I decided to leave and I told them I would not be returning. I will look for a new dermatologist.I would agree with the other review that said Dr. Leddon had the bedside manner of a cactus and lacked any empathy. Steer clear.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
