Dr. Hammaker repaired an inguinal hernia for me. I was nervous since it was my first general anesthetic in over 50 years. I was extremely please with the surgery which was done as an open incision. Within a day I was easily climbing stairs and by the 4th day I was doing 10,000 steps daily. Virtually no pain after the first week, and relatively minor pain before that. I felt that my pre- and post-surgical visits were complete and not rushed, and at the time of surgery everything was explained thoroughly.

Not good. No bedside manner. Never spoke with me directly when I was not in a fog of anesthesia. His energy was clipped and cold.
