Lisa Zwerdlinger's Online Review Report Card

Staff was great. Front desk and medical student who checked me in were all awesome. Dr. Lisa came across as condescending and I left feeling a little unheard and judged. She herself never actually asked me any questions just came in and started giving her opinion. She then told me to "collect your things and I'll show you the way out." Like I was a child. To be honest, I will never come back here again and I will be seeking another doctor to address what I came into the clinic for.

Dr. Lisa saved my husband a few years ago when he had a seizure and was brought into the ER. She took quick action, and had us on our way to Denver in no time to get treated. She always has the best interest for the patient but also gives you her medical insight which can certainly be a lot to absorb but after seeing so many doctors and “professionals” this is a whole other level of care and treatment you do not receive as often as you should. Great Dr. and overall one of the better ones!!

Dr. Lisa is Absolute worst doctor ever!! Got scolded and “talked to” how it was wrong of me for wanting to switch pharmacies, and that I got prescribed medication from another doctor even though I previously told her I had shoulder surgery… literally can’t believe that she is still allowed to practice in Leadville!

This woman should be in Jail not practicing medicine.

The staff at the desk is amazing. Dr. Amy and the other gal is, as well. However, Dr. Lisa herself is highly incompetent. She doesn't absorb anything you tell her, even with direct eye contact. Be ready for unnecessary sleep studies, and for your insurance to be driven through the roof. I'll echo that the other gals working were incredible. I wish I could leave more stars.

I'm not the type to leave public reviews but I absolutely am for this place. First things first, the wait times here are very long. You get called back pretty quickly but wait 30-45 mins for doctor to come in. My 3 visits here were all the same. Second, I have influenza. Noticeably sick in the room and I complained about not sleeping for 3 nights because my cough was so vicious. She sent me home with a cough suppressant and a steroid for my nose. 4-5 hours later I called back. Very weak cough suppressant did absolutely nothing for me and the steroid gave me ridiculous anxiety and chest pressure. She wasnt willing to help me any further. Said sorry and we got off the phone. Didnt sleep again so went to another emergency center at 5am, where they sent me to a hospital for testing, because they noticed I was actually sick and needed more than an inhaler and a steroid. Never again.

The best medical appointment I've had in 61 years!! It started with the assistant/tech Jessica. She was sweet, quick, competent and the best phlebotomist I've ever had!! Next I met with Amy the PA. She did a new patient physical including pap and pelvic. She was thorough, professional but what I liked best was she cared! She was so kind, warm and welcoming. She took her time with me, listened and is a wonderful ambassador for Leadville!! Any anxiety I had about going to a new practice, in a new town was squashed. If there were more than 5 stars I'd give it. Best medical experience EVER!!

I can’t say enough for the care and treatment that I’ve been given. Lisa and her staff have brought me through many scary times. Their care and willingness to help me has given me a feeling with a doctor that I’ve never had before.Leadville it’s a small community but it has a very caring doctor with a very caring staff. Thank you all of you for your help and kindness.

I was taken right in after filling out info with the friendly front staff. Love Amy King. She really listens and takes her time with you like your the only patient that day.

Wow one of the absolute worst experiences I’ve had with a doctors office. All they try to do is get you to become a patient permanently at there clinic every time you come in. To top things off I called back after non improvement and got treated like a customer service client complaining when I was calling because I’ve become more ill and need help. Is it not the doctors job to help you when your Ill? I’ve never had a doctors treat me with such disrespect not even opening my chart just treating me like a customer complaining. Dr Lisa even asked, “how can I help make your day better?” Over the phone while I’m struggling through asthma attacks. What a horrible practice do not give your business to this office if you want to be treated humanely!!
