Catrina Bubier's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bubier has been my gynecologist since 2006. I HIGHLY recommend her because she listens well, and figures out issues with professionalism and simplicity. As an example: for a short while she did not take Medicare Patients. I was over 65 and started bleeding (like a period). I had cramps, mood swings and was just plain difficult to be around. Since Dr. Bubier, at that time, didn't take Medicare patients, I had to go to a recommended Medicare gynecologist who suggested I put in an IUD to stop my bleeding. Since I was over 65 - I double checked with Dr. Bubier's office and was willing to pay ANYTHING, as a private pay patient, to get her opinion! After getting an ultrasound, per Dr. Bubier's, recommendation, I met her in her office. She listened, thought and told me that- 'lets try a simpler method, before any IUD's are inserted.' She said 'just stay off any hormones.' Within a week, I didn't have my period anymore and just spotted for another week. I'm SO happy and so is my husband who had to live through me having my period over 65! The bonus is that Dr. Bubier had started accepting my Medicare, United insurance so my insurance covered my appointments!I have so much admiration and respect for Dr. Bubier because of her personal and professional manner in which she serves her patients!

I should say Dr. Bubier came highly recommended. When I discussed my birth preferences, all of their staff (as you see a different staff member at each visit) indicated my specific preferences would be fine. My biggest ask was that I not deliver on my back as biomechanically that is literally the worst position to deliver in. When it came time to push she indicated that I had to be on my back. In the moment I couldn't really think and respond - that whole having a baby without drugs thing - so I just pushed on my back. They encouraged me to push when I wasn't contracting and to hold my breath and push - both biomechanically AWFUL instructions that can lead to serious pelvic floor dysfunction and rupturing of blood vessels.Toward the end of my pregnancy my blood pressure started to slightly increase and another physician in the practice pushed an induction to which I refused as I had no other signs of Pre-E. Their office was VERY pushy to induce. I went in every 2 days for almost 2 weeks and had all my values checked including ultrasounds and stress tests, which all came out fine, and my babe came naturally on his own.The practice did let me test my own blood sugars for 2 weeks instead of drinking the orange glucose drink.Overall, if you are looking for a more "natural" or "holistic" birth experience I cannot recommend this Dr. Bubier or her practice. The midwife that was there (she was lovely) left which I believe speaks to the direction in which the physicians are leading that practice.

Catrina has been my primary care physician for over 10 years and delivered all 3 of my babies at Sky Ridge Hospital. She is absolutely amazing and truly cares about her patients. I feel lucky to have found the perfect doctor for me and my family.

I have been seeing Dr. Bubier for a few years and she is great. The staff and Dr. Bubier focus on your overall health and well being. She asks overall l health questions and offers recommendations. If you are looking for a great doctor and staff, highly recommend

Tanyel was rude and completely unprofessional with me , once I told her how uncomfortable she was making me she apologized in a sad attempt to keep me at their office. I was bleeding heavily and she didn't even bother to put that on my medical record, but she did manage to put incorrect information on there! Tanyel told me not to have sex or insert ANYTHING in my vagina, and when she told me over the phone a few days later I was positive for bacterial vaginosis she stated she would send over my prescription and to take the pills twice a day. Well she prescribed me a vaginal insert instead. She didn't even bother to run any other panels either just the one! My husband and I are now with a professional and amazing doctor who is as excited as we are, and within seconds of looking at my cervix realized I had a "firey" cervix and wanted to run a comprehensive panel to eliminate any other issue. Turns out I had two bacterial infections that are now being resolved! This doctors office manage to not send over and of my Pap smear results and sent incorrect information to my new office even though I spoke with the manager and she promised to get it resolved for us. Sad that when an expecting mother is going through all these things the one place I looked to for guidance and support dropped the ball so many times. This was an ongoing event for me and beyond stressful, like I said before we are so happy with our new office staff and doctor but ladies beware, you should NOT have to check and double check and still not get anything corrected by the people that should be doing simply "their job"!

Dr. Bubier is wonderful! She's so caring and efficient. I never feel rushed and I could just tell she really cared. Being a menopausal woman, lots of times OB/GYNs don't show the same compassion for "older" women - not Dr. Bubier - she was simply amazing! Her follow up was so refreshing - she called me herself! I would recommend Dr. Bubier to every woman I know!

Dr Bubier is extremely knowledgeable and even went as far as to help me with my bladder and acne issues. She along with her staff were very nice. I highly recommend her

I really have had such a great experience with Dr Bubier, especially during my pregnancy. This is my first and I just have to say that she really spends the time with me to make sure I understand what's happening at each step of my pregnancy. I never wait more than ten minutes to see her for my check ups and the office staff is warm and friendly. I just love her and the office as a whole!

It took me sometime to write this review because I believe that every patients experience is different, but, thought that it is important to let other patients know my experience so that it does not happen to someone else. Almost 3 years ago I found out that I was pregnant and was elated..... I made an appointment to see Dr. Bubier as a new patient because we had just moved here. Three months into my pregnancy I was told by her that I would have to terminate my pregnancy because my baby was not progressing normally. We made an appointment to terminate the baby but I couldnt do it because my husband was out of town and did not want to do it myself. After a long discussion with my husband we decided that we would continue the pregnancy and put it in gods hands against Dr. Bubiers wishes. To make a long story short 6 months later I gave birth to a small but healthy baby boy. After I delivered she never came to see me or offered us any sort of congratulations after. Three years later I have a wonderfully smart and healthy little boy. I would never use this doctor again or recommend her to any one I care about.
