Allison is so kind and helpful. I came in with a back injury and she helped relive the pain with acupuncture and took the time to really make sure she was focusing on the areas that were causing me the most discomfort.

There are people in this world who are placed here to be healers, Alison is one of these gifted souls. For those of us who have struggled with their health, (Haven't been able to get answers from their Drs, and been told that their symptoms are in their heads.) Alison has a gift of understanding both Western and Eastern medicine. She's able to truly connect why our bodies struggle physically, emotionally, and energy wise. I have had problems with hormones, Perithyriod, and a full hip replacement. With Acupuncture and Chinese herbs, we've been able to help with hot flashes, and pain associated with my hip. I would highly recommend Alison because she's also kind, funny, and a compassionate Woman.

Allison is simply the best! She is calm, creative, engaging and reassuring with kids of all ages. She speaks to them clearly, answers their questions and doesn’t talk down to them - trusting them to be able to talk about what’s happening in their own bodies, and ask intelligent questions that require intelligent responses. My kids (aged 2 and 7) love her, and have been seeing her for years. Allison is great, obviously, with adults too. She listens, and is perceptive with her lines of questioning. She is very non-judgemental, and intimately understands the challenges of work/parent life. Allison makes suggestions, and expects your follow-through, but always tries to find strategies, work-arounds, and substitutions that fit within our budgets (money, time, amount of one’s self left at the end if the day), and things that we don’t have the flexibility to change at the moment. We simply cannot recommend Allison enough!

I had some acupuncture done for whiplash following a motorcycle accident. Allison was able to quickly pinpoint the areas of tension and treat them. I was amazed with how she almost had a sixth sense on where tension was and when to apply acupuncture for effective release. Pain and tension are still much better even weeks after treatment. Will absolutely recommend and use Colorado Family Acupuncture again!
