I saw Melissa Peters at Kaiser. She was very nice and tried to be helpful but misdiagnosed me several times. My physical therapist found my health issue and Dr. Peters did follow through.

A phone call with Dr. Peters demands a high price: $554. We were looking for a doctor and were interested in Dr. Peters’ D.O. skills. After giving the health history requested the office scheduled calls with the doctor. She asked generic questions. I asked how her DO credentials were incorporated into her practice. She said she doesn't use those skills. Dr. Peters’ call with my husband was similarly unimpressive. She was nearly a half hour late. My husband again said we were looking for a doctor. Dr. Peters plowed through the same generic questions. She repeatedly asked to refill his one prescription. He repeatedly declined. She did it anyway. We told Dr. Peters we would NOT be joining her practice. She billed $554. Dr. Peters parlayed our question about her practice into a Telemed visit and justified it by prescribing medicine without knowing my husband’s blood labs, despite his insistence that she not, and despite the fact we were not patients.

Dr. Peters is the best doctor i have met...caring, professional, and i called her my "Human Doctor"...she listen - respond to messages in a very speedy manner...God Bless You...JM

Dr. Peters was my physician for 10 years. She listened, she was quick to respond, and she is an excellent position. I highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Peters in 2016 at Kaiser. Reportedly now she is with Centura. She was dismissive, paternalistic, and the time was spent reviewing her computer print out of her findings, which during my annual physical exam, focused on her agenda. She told me that any additional concerns (outside of HER agenda), would constitute another appointment. I am medically competent as a former med tech and psychologist now, married to an internist, and I have NEVER had such a negative experience with an internist as I had with her. I knew what tests needed follow up, but she refused. I would not recommend her.
