I've been Dr. Damiano's patient for 29 years. I have temendous issues with my eyes and he has been awesome with his decisions regarding what procedures should be taken with my eye sight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Damiano who, I feel might be one of the best surgeons in the world! Thank you Rich!

For almost 35 years I have been seeing Dr Damiano and would never consider going to anyone else. He has performed several procedures on my eyes all with excellent results. On Oct 20 2019 I flew from my home in Virginia for a checkup and received a good report for my 89 year old eyes.

Dr Damiano is extremely talented and conscientious. He thinks through options and doesn't rush to recommend procedures. I have been going to him for almost 40 years and meet many patients who have a similar long history. Most of us would follow him anywhere and some do. I've met patients from CA to PA who still come to CO for eye care by Dr Damiano.

Not given enough anesthesia during my last surgery by Dr.Damiano. Could hear him screaming that he had cut a vein. He didn’t tell me this in recovery room but only said it would take more than a day to see. For 6 months couldn’t see anything. Vision in that eye now far worse than before surgery and pupil is oval shaped instead of round. Can understand making a mistake, but not owning up to it is UNACCEPTABLE!! Another doc refused to “clean up the mess” that Dr. D. had done.

Dr. Damiano didn’t give me enough anesthesia during my last surgery, so I was awake and could hear him talking. He cursed that blood was everywhere because he had cut a vein. In recovery he didn’t tell me what he had inadvertently done. He only said that most patients can see the next day but that it would take me a little longer. I had NO vision in that eye for 6 months. Since then,the vision in that eye has been extremely limited and the iris is oval shaped. I, later, went to another surgeon who is a friend of Dr. Damiano. He told me that “in no way” would he fix “the mess” that another surgeon has made. An asst. of Dr. Damiano told me that Dr. Damiano is “surgery happy”. I should have listened to her! Anyone can make a mistake, but not to acknowledge it is UNFORGIVABLE!! Beware of COCKY Dr. Damiano! See a different eye surgeon instead of Dr. Damiano!

Dr Damiano's approach to my vision was unlike any doctor I've seen in the past. In one visit, he was able to get me out of reading glasses that I had been wearing for 6 years.

I saw Dr. Domiano in 1983. I was a patient surviving surgery from a brain tumor which resulted in a stoke and numerous other problems. One thing I had ulcerated my the cornea in my right eye. Dr. Domiano performed a cornea transplant. The survey was a success until a cataract started forming. I have had several cornea transplants. Dr. Domiano is a very caring person. Yes, I had to wait each time I saw him. However, I had to wait to see Dr.s each and every time. Dr. Domiano is concerned about his patients and gives you 100 per cent of his time. I have the utmost respect and am glad to know him.

He is a wonderful Doctor and human being. He is absolutely brilliant and is willing to try new and innovative procedures to get you the best results possible. I really feel like he cares about what I have to say and even when his staff is pushing him to move onto the next patient he will not leave until all my questions have been answered.
