Dr. Benson saved my life and made me healthy all over again. I'm so grateful that he performed my surgery. He's extremely nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

As a critical care RN, I do my due diligence when picking a physician/surgeon. Dr. Benson is an excellent clinician and communicator. He wants his patients to understand his recommendations, understand how and when to take a medicine, as well as its benefits and side effects, and/or understand what's involved in a certain procedure/surgery and its potential outcomes. Be assured, he will take the time to answer all your questions. He is genuinely kind, and respectful, not only to his patients but to his staff. I had no issues scheduling my post op visit but there were a couple hiccups scheduling surgery. It took a few weeks of back and forth phone calls/voice messages. I had them blocked (accidently) on my phone so I wasn't receiving any return messages. I finally reached out on the patient portal and had surgery scheduled within 24 hours. In the end, it was worth the multiple phone calls. I would highly recommend him!

I would never know whether Dr Benson is a good Dr because I can’t get past how RUDE Alicia was when I called simply to see if the office had my referral. The tone she took with me implied I should know she doesn’t look for referrals until afternoon. I thought maybe she had received multiple calls about me and that would explain her short and rude tone but she said I was the first to check on the referral. I’m sure she just doesn’t have any customer service skills and I won’t be spending any additional time or nor do I chose to spend my MONEY being treated rudely! No thank you!!

Dr Benson was amazing . He spent a lot of time with me answering all me questions and preparing me for surgery. I recovered very quickly - I’m sure a direct result of Dr Benson’s expertise and techniques.

Dr. Benson is awesome! Not so sure about the new person (Erica) on the front desk who took my phone call 2x/3x today. As a patient since 2018, with routine procedure every year, you would think that she (or somebody in the office) would have a weekly schedule of what's coming up and proactively contact patients to give them the set of prep instructions/directions for the upcoming procedure (an email reminder would do). But no.. I had to call and ask for this information. Isn't that what they're supposed to do as part of taking care of their patients? Also when I asked Erica a question specific to my procedure, she said she's going to look up my demographic information? What does that have to do with the procedure?! She clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. Great doctor, but staff people (like Erica, hopefully not all of them) is terrible.

Explained the robotic surgery clearly; answered all pre-op questions. Procedure went as smoothly as possible. His work permitted me to be discharged 48 hours post surgery. Post-op conference was clear and very reassuring. Pain level minimal.

Dr. Benson is an excellent surgeon. My husband recovered so well from major surgery performed by him. He is up to date on the most recent and up to date techniques. I highly recommend him!
