I've been a patient of Dr. Ledgerwood for 3 years. He's straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, honest and sincere. I recently underwent prostate reduction surgery performed by Dr. Ledgerwood. His preparation of me for the impacts, recovery and benefits of the procedure were 100% spot on. His assistant Nancy was also a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Dr. Ledgerwood and his team for urological issues.

Have been a patient of Dr. Ledgerwood for 3 years. He's knowledgeable, straightforward, honest and sincere. He and his staff handled my surgery and recovery perfectly. I recently ended up in the Medical Center of Aurora with a large kidney stone that needed surgical intervention & stent placement. Dr. Ledgerwood was oncall and arrived to do my intervention; I am so thankful I was partnered with him. Before I go any further let me be upfront regarding the fact that I have been a Registered Nurse for 26+ years, hold numerous Board Certifications in Wound Care, Ostomy Care and Hyperbaric Nursing, and am nearly finished in my FNP program, so to impress me......well it takes quite a bit. Dr. Ledgerwood is kind, friendly, highly educated, and to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush in terms of the severity of one's issues and what it takes to get on the right path. I appreciate that. Additionally I have had great experiences with both John (his scheduler) & Nancy (his MA) as they have been extremely helpful through my health care appointments & needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Ledgerwood and his team for your Urology needs--you will not be disappointed and you will be in excellent hands!!!!

Dr. Ledgerwood is a true professional. Unfortunatley, the staff clearly are not. I voiced my discomfort with the survey that was being pushed on me all three times. The survey had little to no medical questioning. Instead it requires answers about ethnicity, marriage, ect. I explained I was not comfortable answering these questions, but was told it was mandatory or I would not be seen. Another woman in the lobby also voiced her concerns regarding the questioning. When patient discomfort is not addressed, that is a red flag. I left.

I met Dr. Ledgerwood on Thanksgiving 2018. I was admitted to CR Adventist for sever sepsis! A kidney stone blockage almost killed me. I had been dealing with stones for at least 16 years! Dr. Ledgerwood was the first doctor that wanted to know why I was getting them. He ordered a 24 hour urine test and it showed that I had hyperparathyroidism! After suffering as long as I did, he made the choice to make me not need to be his patient anymore with this simple test! In my opinion he saved my family from having to go on without me. I recently had 3 of my parathyroid glands removed. I’m so very grateful for his caring and attention to the source of my issue! I would recommend Dr. Ledgerwood to everyone that has ever had a kidney issue! Thank you so very much for the new lease on life Dr. Ledgerwood I am forever in your debt! Much love to you and your team for everything you have done for me and my family! My hubby will be in to see you soon!!!!

It is a rare doctor today who not only takes the time to understand his patient, but knows how to deliver difficult messages with compassion, empathy and concern for the patients understanding and emotional reaction to that message. He is the best I have ever encountered. I am a prostate cancer survivor, and I have dealt with a wide range of specialists, none of which come close to Dr, Ledgerwood. I also greatly appreciate his honesty and candor. He can be the 'velvet hammer' when necessary.
