List of John S Xenos's Reviews
I met Dr.Xnos in Milwaukee where he flys in for the weekend does (IME) independent medical examination. John is a nice guy but in Reality he’s there to say NO and collect his money from the insurance company. They pay for his flight,Hotel, car, food. Just for him to come in and deny people and there injuries they have sustained on a job. So I read these reviews about him not being compassionate, how is this man gonna be compassionate when he’s being paid to destroy peoples lives? I don’t know why a Dr at this level would want to take this roll. Well I guess it’s all about the money. So former patients and new ones be aware this Dr. Is paid by insurance companies to destroy lives.
Dr. Xenos and his staff were very kind and very professional. I will definitely see him again if the need arises.
I didn’t even see this doctor just kept me in the room waiting to me that’s just rude and inconsiderate. You know at least the office staff need to use politeness and kindness, and be considerate and not just keep somebody in a room for two hours and keep me waiting. I never saw them and I’m glad I never went back to this unkind, disrespectful, inconsiderate individual and I’m glad I’m not the only one who does not like this individual doctor.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Xenos since 2015. I’m extreme with exercise and I have bad genes. I had a labral tear in my left hip that he fixed in 2016. Immediately after surgery, my pain was gone. I’ve had no problems since. Both of my knees are shot and I’m getting ready for total replacements. Dr. Xenos listens to me, explains my scans and X-rays - what he sees, the pain I’m experiencing. I’d say he’s the best and most qualified ortho around. So glad he was recommended to me years ago 🙏
I went to see him in aug 2022 he said he could help so I believe him,but after surgery was whole new nightmare for me ,I can't walk or sleep or do normal activities because for 4 months after I been feeling grinding and popping and my right bone is sticking out on my hip, they been ignoring me finally I beg for new kind of xray jan 5,2023 I got them to a CT scan we waited over month for them to tell us they said the bone is sticking out is causing the pain They said surgery is the next stept dr. keoing won't allow that so i told him I want dr. Xeonos to call me he won't. They mess my right hip worse then ever I wouldn't trust them PERIOD!!!!!!
You burned me!!! Recommended MRI with Touchstone Imaging who didn't have your Clinical Notes, couldn't perform and turned me away. You Eff'd me good so hopefully you met your quota for this month.
After two personal referrals to Dr. Xenos, I scheduled a consultation for my needed anterior hip replacement surgery. Dr. Xenos and his PA spent a lot of time explaining everything and answering all the questions I had. The surgery went great, and six weeks later I can't believe how "normal" I feel. Sometimes I forget I even had surgery. If you want an excellent surgeon and caring staff with great outcomes, I highly recommend Dr. Xenos and Colorado Orthopedics.
I know multiple patients that used Dr. Xenos for their knee and hip surgeries and they don’t seem to have nearly as difficult a recovery as others I have seen in my practice!
Dr. Xenos is Very caring and knowledgeable. As a result of his knowledge my surgery was completed so that I have full range of motion and other than a small scar, you would never know I had surgery. 5 years post total hip replacement and I’ve been pain free ever since. Dr. Xenos spent extra time with me to walk through the entire surgery. He answered all questions and even took time to answer some questions about an ankle injury. I refer him every chance I get.
After 12 years of being with Dr. Xenos, he stopped listening to me. Knowing my pain was not just tendinitis, after three total knee replacements on the same knee, I know when somethings wrong. I did write him a letter regarding this whole situation. I think he takes his joking around too far, and turns things personal for himself. I ended up finding another doctor, who after looking at the x-rays I brought with me, stated right away, the metal in my femur had come loose. And I ended up having a fourth total knee on my left knee. By the new doctor. So much for tendinitis. Dr. Xenos is great in the beginning until he is not.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
