Outstanding experience with Gallbladder Removal surgery. Recovery was very easy (in late 60's so was not a given) which I attribute to a great surgery. Would highly recommend!!!

After lower lumbar surgery I developed severe complications. I had a rare total iliac occlusion (blood clot from my ankle to my abdomen) and then had a life threatening allergic reaction to a blood thinner. My condition was life and limb threatening. Dr. Schoeff took over my case and helped gather a special team of doctors to help me keep my life and my leg. I was hospitalized for a week, 4 of those days in ICU. Dr. Schoeff was there for every procedure performed and saw me every day. Amazing!

Recently met Dr. Schoeff, when my brother from out of town , presented to the ER and required a surgical consultation. His demeanor was welcome, urgent, yet not alarming, carefully explaining all options while clarifying the need for quick decision making. He made my brother feel comfortable about moving forward and I was impressed with his bedside manner. He was equally engaging in his post-op surgical waiting room conversation. The nurses spoke very highly of him which is good enough.

From the time that I initially made a call, I was able to make an appointment the following day and schedule my surgery within a week. Dr. Schoeff was always prompt to my appointments. He was friendly, professional, explained the surgery clearly and answered all questions directly. His office was always available for questions. The insurance was handled perfectly. As for the surgery, it could not have gone better. Very little discomfort and immediate recovery. Excellent!
