Julianne R. Garrison's Online Review Report Card

I do not usually leave reviews for medical providers; however, after speaking to several of my colleagues, who happen to be medical providers as well, I was encouraged to leave feedback pertaining to Dr. Julianna Garrison. My first encounter with her, as a NEW patient, was to receive specialized migraine treatment. Indeed, this was the reason I sought out this medical practice. I suffer from debilitating and extremely painful migraine headaches. When I arrived for my appointment to see her, I was in pain and had been dealing with a migraine headache that had lasted approximately 5 days. She was about 50 minutes late for the appointment. When I mentioned this, she sat down on the pull-out stool at the bottom of the table where patients sit so she could have her face close to mine, and suggested my “energy” was wrong. She said she did not like it. She told me she “would most likely always be late” and maybe I should find a different provider. I had waited a month past when my medication

Professional and thorough. Took the time to educate and diagnose.

Dr. Garrison has been my PCP for many years. She has helped me numerous times. Her support, advice and professionalism is so much appreciated. I recommend Julianne to anyone looking for a great doctor !. Dr. Laurie Berger-Jackson

Very smart and caring!

I just had a checkup with Dr Garrison. Such a great experience. The whole team is caring and welcoming. Dr Garrison always takes the extra time to explain, review and discuss any concerns or future health plans. I cannot recommend her and this team highly enough. If you are looking for a better, more thorough and more human experience then I strongly recommend moving to Ranch View Family Medicine.

Dr. Garrison saved my life. She cares enough about patients’ health to be persistent about helping them reach their goals. Because of her, I had the surgery I had badly needed for a long time. I have been seeing her for years now and hope she doesn’t retire until after I’m dead!!!

I have been a patient of Ranch View Family Medicine since 2003. By happy accident (current doctor not available) I started seeing Dr. Garrison. I have never looked back! She is amazing! I can ask any question or bring up any topic and she always has been able to give me the latest information.

She is very attentive and vested in your health. A special person. Plus they have cool ‘therapy’ dogs.

i was a patient of Dr. Garrison's for over 5 years. she is very smart, super energetic, and is also an amazing business woman running the practice that she owns! The only problem i ever had with Dr. Garrison is that she tended to over-refer to other physicians, lab work, etc... instead of trying to formulate an initial, more targeted (and budget conscious) approach to trying to diagnose an issue. i ended up going down more than a few frivolous rabbit holes, paying for 'specialists' that really werent necessary or helpful. However, i totally get that doctors these days have to practice 'defensive medicine' so they don't get sued by patients for not turning over every rock in the field. in my experience though, a really good Primary Care doctor will spend a little more upfront time thinking and researching the issue themselves, before sending their patients off for all kinds of tests and other doctors.

I was a patient of Dr. Piel and loved this place. But....Ranch View WAS great until Dr Garrison bought the practice. I will provide a number of reasons behind this statement and my One Star. For the record, I am currently looking for another physician primarily because of Dr. Garrison. She is condescending, disrespectful and self-centered. My previous annual physical was scheduled at 8:30am...her 2nd appointment of the day. She didn't walk into the exam room until after 9:30! Really? Respect my time. I had a meeting at 10am that day and was 30 minutes late. Dr Garrison laughed it off ... "everyone knows I never stay on time". If that's true, maybe you should try scheduling more time for each patient. But then she said "you were annoyed with me last year for this same reason - because I was late." I asked her how she remembered that, and she said she read it in her notes from last year. OMG - you KNEW you did this last year - that I was annoyed and you STILL had no respect for my time!?
