Robert Gustofson's Online Review Report Card

Let me start by saying: if you are faced with having to go through the IVF process, trust me, you will want to get it right the first time and I highly recommend you seek out Dr. Gustofson! Dr. Gustofson was the 3rd reproductive endocrinologist I saw during my 1.5 years of infertility. He recommended additional tests that the other 2 did not do in order to get a better idea of why I couldn't get pregnant on my own. Upon reviewing my results, he recommended a more aggressive (which I welcomed) approach compared to the other RE's I saw. He took into consideration our plans for future children, not just getting us our first. Throughout my treatment and during the transfer, Dr. G had me on several innovative protocols to get the best results possible for my situation. I've talked to friends who are going through IVF across the country and it seems like Dr. G and CCRM are by far the most thorough, innovative, and successful! As a result, I'm pregnant & will be back for the siblings!!

After 5 failed IUI’s and 3 failed embryo transfers that resulted in 2 bio-chemical pregnancies, I was convinced the Fertility Clinic of New Orleans was not going to work out in the long run. I also found their staff lacking basic knowledge and kind consideration after each failed pregnancy attempt. That all changed when I took a chance and visited Dr. Gustofson. Him, nurse Kathryn, and the staff were professional, considerate and their approach to IVF is more aggressive, but very well thought out. They literally seem more up-to-date in this field of study and no matter what question I asked them, they always had an answer. So after my initial check-up, Dr. Gustofson was surprised I couldn’t get pregnant. He recommended I do 2 fresh cycles of IVF at CCRM due to my age and the fact I wanted to have at least 2 children. After only 1 embryo transfer, I ended up getting pregnant and will be expecting a baby next summer! Don’t think about it, just do it! You won’t regret it.

Dr. Gustofson gave us everything we have been dreaming of for over a year. From the moment we came in, we felt welcomed, listened to, and cared for. Every concern was addressed from the very beginning and because of that and having tailored care, we are now pregnant with our first child and we owe CCRM so much credit!

Dr. G and his team at CCRM have been the epitome of professionalism. Dr. G guided us through every step of the process and did so in a patient, caring, and thoughtful manner. We are so lucky to have had him and his team be a big part of our future since our combined hard work has resulted in our pregnancy.

We would 100% recommend Dr. G and the CCRM staff to anyone working through their family building process. Dr. G was particularly knowledgeable and always took time to check in about questions and our experience. Everyone on staff was kind, friendly, supportive, and took their time to make sure all our questions were answered.

Dr. Gustofson is the best to work with. He is a great listener and works with you to make a plan that works. He and the team at CCRM have made it possible for us to have a family. We are forever grateful.

We have used Dr G twice in our fertility journey. Both times we have had amazing care. Everyone has been super informative and I always felt very educated and well aware of the progress of my treatment. Thank you Dr G and staff for being our "village" and helping to achieve our family dreams.

Dr. Gustofson is an incredibly kind, compassionate and wonderful doctor. He took the time to answer our questions (I had MANY every time we talked). He has a great bedside manner. He also clearly has a very in depth and confident knowledge that was always reassuring. Cannot recommend him enough!!

Dr. G is the best. He and his wife have been through infertility and as a result, he is very compassionate. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He explains everything well and takes time to answer questions. Excellent bedside manner.

Dr. G provides empathetic care; he patiently listens to your questions and offers guidance and support throughout the infertility journey. His nursing and ultrasound staff are wonderful as well and always make visits as comfortable as possible. I previously had an egg retrieval with an east coast clinic and got 1 (genetically tested) embryo that did not stick when transferred. With Dr. G's help, my CCRM egg retrieval resulted in 7 (genetically tested) embryos. My first frozen embryo transfer was a success and we have a 2 year old now! I am currently pregnant with my second transferred embryo. Without CCRM and Dr. G our family would not be what it is today. I would highly recommend his care.
