I cringe every time I have to see him. He has zero bedside manner. He’s almost intimidating in his tone of voice. Fortunately he’s not my primary care physician but he’s a doctor at the practice. The last time I saw him I was horribly sick (likely just a bad cold, but I have asthma so I can’t discount anything). I debated even going in when they scheduled me with him, but I went anyway. He did all the testing which was great, but didn’t ask at all about my asthma history or breathing. When all the tests came back negative, he came into the room and said “welp, all your tests are negative, sorry your sick. You can go home now.” Nothing about treating symptoms, or anything. Tell me to take a Tylenol….act like a health care provider. Terrible.
I was misdiagnosed 4 times by this dr Knepshield on different conditions. Finally gave up.
When I selected Ranchview Medical two years ago, after being with a PCP for more than 20 years, I felt the practice was like a breath of fresh air. There was an insurance company offering lower premiums, which Ranchview was not a part of yet I elected to pay a higher rate because I liked the practice that much. Covid has had a negative incredible impact on all businesses but the lack of communication from the practice, staff and PCP led me to fire the practice and Dr. Knepshield and look for another PCP. Very unfortunate because I really wanted to remain a long-term client of the practice and Dr. Knepshield yet their actions are clear they don't want me as a long term customer.
Dr. Knepshield has a great bed side manor. You takes the time to explain your condition including recommending best options. I cannot remember if I have ever had a doctor that actually takes the time to call me personally. Dr. Knepshield did that for me and it was much appreciated.
Listens to your concerns. Doesn’t rush you. Dormant talk down to you.
I appreciate Dr. Knepshield because he always takes the time to listen and truly understand what I’m going through. He’s very personable and genuinely cares. He consistently goes above and beyond. I hope to keep him as my doctor as long as he’s practicing medicine.
My experience with Dr. Knepshield has been very positive. He is a caring and compassionate physician. One of his best attributes, which there are many, is his ability and willingness to listen to his patients. I always feel we are working together on any health treatment plan we deem appropriate at the time. A plan that will hopefully resolve the health issue as well as a plan I am willing to comply with. In other words....... teamwork!
Dr Knepshield, is a very KIND & GENTLE HEARTEF DR!! He’s one Dr that has GREAT bedside manners and show s he truly cares about his patients.. He really is in tune with what Is also going on.. I’m grateful that he is our family Doctor.. he’s a Dr, that really stops and seriously listens!! both my husband and I truly appreciate his professionalism and OUTSTANDING gentleness .. Thank God he’s a Truely AMAZING Doctor THAT CARES, and truly listens.. Thank you Dr Knepshield ????
Dr. Knepshield has been my PCP for several years. He is thorough, conservative (i.e. Let's try physical therapy before I start injecting you with cortisone, which was quite effective in correcting the chronic pain). He is caring, but not chatty and makes certain you follow through. Kind of a no BS guy. My insurance is leaving the state at the end of this year, and I am very disappointed that I will have to get another doctor. I sincerely recommend him if you are serious about your health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
