I have been a patient for 5 plus years. The staff is knowledgeable and very caring .I can say honestly that BHG and staff have been a life saver to me.I have no negative comments to say.The nurses are such a delight.nicki and Angela are great .Make your own opinions visit or call or even join if needed so u can see for yourself.
This place saved my life. The entire staff is incredible and I quickly built relationships with everyone. And I could go on and on about my counselor Lindsey. She’s incredible, literally the only person in my life I look forward to talking to twice a week. She’s hands down my absolute favorite person ever. She goes out of here way and makes my recovery a priority. I’ve never had a support system like this and it’s the best feeling.
Disrespectful and unhelpful staff and overpriced services. Extremely high turnover rate for counselors. Rude attitudes toward vulnerable people who are attempting to improve their lives. Unreasonable rules and expectations for patients. Nickel and dime-ing patients for life-saving services. Staff members often have no respect for their patients. Their only concern is money, not helping people who need help. The list of negatives about BHG goes on and on.The only positive is that after jumping through their hoops, paying an exorbitant amount, and developing thick enough skin to handle being treated poorly, you will get the medication you need to move on with your life. BHG is predatory, other clinics in the area are not. Please seek other options before settling for BHG, because you are a human deserving of basic decency and respect. And though there are individuals at BHG (at least there were when I was a patient) who are caring and highly qualified to treat substance use disorders, the management of this large chain of BHG clinics is atrocious and it does patients a disservice. It does their employees a disservice because they are underpaid, hence the higher than average turnover. It’s about money, not recovery. I was not able to turn my life around completely until I left BHG. I implore you to find a different, local treatment center if you don’t want to have to deal with the horrific stress of all things BHG.
Definitely a five-star place it's a little small clinic but they're fast and efficient very good place to get go get help I didn't think this program or the methadone would work but it's pretty much the only thing that helps with my pain and other issues I have very good clinic and staff definitely recommended
I only know that my counselor is wonderful an Jan is nice at the front desk.
For the people who constantly trash this place, it’s not fair to the patients who actually try! I’ve been here for a little over a year and I have had zero issues! It sounds to me like a lot of mad people come on here to trash the extremely nice and helpful staff because said patient wasn’t following the rules. This place saved my life! If it wasn’t for the wonderful nurses (Nikki) & (Angela) I would probably be dead in a ditch! From the front desk ladies (Jan & Monica) to the back councilors; everyone tries their best and only has your best interest at heart! They will drive in a ragging blizzard to open the doors because they care about us!! I don’t know about anyone else but this is the first place who didn’t treat me like a drug addict. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me from the moment I stepped foot in that place!!I have had three councilors; Paul, Anna, and my current one Kayla....All of them treated me with equality and never made me feel less than due to my opiate addiction! All of them were special in their own way and I love the fact that I have been able to experience three different ways of therapy! Not every person is the same, and everyone there knows that, but they would never treat you bad or like a junkie, they all have amazing hearts and go above and beyond for us! And I strongly believe they deserve a whole lot more respect and appreciation and gratitude than what had been given!!So Thank you So very much everyone for being so helpful, caring, amazing, kind, patient, and just all around incredible! I’m sorry for the people I didn’t mention, I am blanking out on everyone’s names and the people I mentioned are the ones I usually interact with! Dr. Oakley, Dr. Norzardan, Nikki, Kayla, Angela, Jan, Shelly, Monica and everyone else, Thank you so so much!!!! Also I apologize for the rude people you hve had to deal with and if I spelled anyone’s name wrong. Thank you everyone!! ❤️
Wonderful clinic! I've been goin here for quite a long time and was given the tools to totally turn my life around :) When I first started treatment here I really thought I was hopeless, I had tried almost every other addiction treatment out there but I would always relapse after a few months. I was unemployed, broke, desperate, emotionally volatile and totally unstable but now I have made a total 180 :) My counselor helped me to see what I needed change and worked with me to tackle these issues and develop healthy coping mechanisms that would keep from relapsing and starting the cycle all over again. It wasn't easy, you really have to want to be sober, your counselor is not a magician and can't make your problems disappear. Methadone maintenance is not for everyone and I would personally recommend that addicts try suboxone before methadone. The people who gave this place a 1 star really just need to grow up and learn to follow the rules that were explained to them in great detail upon becoming a patient here. I've seen these people at the clinic who are so childish and entitled thinking that the staff should cater to them and believe whatever lie they give them so they won't have to face consequences for their actions. If you follow the rules, work hard to stay away from illicit drugs and treat the staff with respect they will go out of their way to make sure you succeed. I can honestly say that without this clinic I would be one of the 72,000 people who die from drug abuse every year.
From my patient intake 2 years ago I went from being a desperate, homeless, unemployed, unwanted and sickly addict to now being independent, hard working, trusted, loving boyfriend and healthy young adult 😀. It's like I'm a totally different person now thanks to these guys ❤️. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this clinic saved my life. I had no hope for myself upon becoming a patient here. I honestly just joined because I was in severe withdrawal due to losing the only source I had for my drug of choice. I only intended to stay until I was able to find another source but thanks to my counselor I decided to try and take MMT seriously and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I'm not saying that this was easy and I'm not saying that this will work for everyone. As for me, I've tried almost everything available to achieve sobriety (iNarcotics Anonymous, monitored detox, clonidine, suboxone etc.) but I was never able to stick to anything until I started Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) at BHG. I even had a lot of problems with during my first few months and came really close to being discharged because of my behavior. You can't just enroll and magically become sober over 2 years, you really have to want to be sober and be willing to work with your counselor to identify the root causes of your addiction. Once you do this you will work with your counselor to find healthy ways to deal with whatever issues that lead you into addiction and once you've done that you can start to taper your dose down and eventually get off methadone 😊.P.S. Don't listen to the negative reviews some people have left here. These are the people that will constantly break the rules, throw temper tantrums when they are confronted about it and verbally abuse the staff if they don't get their way 🙄. The staff here is AMAZING! They are always going above and beyond for the patients that are serious about achieving soberiety and they will always treat you with respect and kindness as long as you do they same 💯. The staff is very understanding and they are always willing to give you so many chances if you screw up because they know that addiction is a difficult thing to deal with and that some laws governing MMT can be very frustrating 😊.
This clinic is by far the most disgusting excuse for a drug treatment center to ever exist. The employees will constantly make up rules that serve whatever their interests at the time might be and have no respect for their patients. Did I say patients? Well the staff will most likely refer to you in private as “those drug addicts” or maybe just refer to the lot of you as “junkies.”BHG will gladly take your money for all of these fine services and more. Including some of these gems.- Be retraumatized on a near daily basis.- Be lied to about state regulations.- Learn which regulations this clinic actively breaks.- Receive less than the bare minimum expected in a medical field.- Denied service unless the staff finds you to be “hot.- Yelled at for walking in the door.- The valuable lesson that this business doesn’t respect the commonly accepted atomic satellite clock time in regards to their business hours.- Sexually harassed.- Recieve a new counselor every three months due to high turnover rates. Any counselor who has lasted more than three months tend be jaded in their regards to their patients and have no interest in helping in their recovery; may just be unable to get a job anywhere else.- Learn what an “Us vs. Them” environment is like.- Be treated like a mentally handicapped toddler on a statewide crime spree.- See how people who actively hate their jobs interact with members of the public. If you really care about your sobriety and recovery, find another clinic or a private doctor. I also recommend sending any reports or complaints to a state authority in private and not through BHG. Complaining through BHG tends to be only internal and leads to nothing and will never recieve a response. This place needs a massive overhaul in the way it operates and is managed that may only be achieved through heavy handed state babysitting or multiple lawsuits.
It's okay they defentalily help you when needed
