Horrible experience with this doctor. She had no idea what was wrong with me and offered no support or follow up visit. She said I was there for fatigue and joint pain in her notes. I was not there for either reason. Then she referred me to a hand specialist even though my issue is not just on my hands. When I saw the hand specialist she was appalled that my referring provider offered no follow up or further support after my biopsy with the hand specialist. She acted totally unconfident and did not even know how the computer system worked so we sat there for at least 10 minutes in silence while she figured it out. I am very upset I had to pay for this appointment. She billed my medical claims fraudulently saying I was there for things I don’t have issues with at all. That is not okay. I brought this up to the office staff and they of course wanted no liability.

What Dr Pfeifer seems to lack is an investigative, curious approach to patient treatment as well as a sense of really caring. Unless you are a very well informed consumer and ask specific questions/offer possible suggestions as to plan of care, you will not be offered these from the "expert." If you are looking for a mediocre physician, she is it.

Very disappointed in the visit with Dr Pfeiffer. What she seems to lack is an investigative, problem solving approach. In order to obtain any suggestions for treatment, I needed to be a very well informed consumer, asking specific questions and being my own strong advocate. While I appreciate the need for being informed, I would have also appreciated input from the "expert." Would not recommend.

After years of suffering with extreme joint pain, fatigue, and overall not well at all, and after seeing three previous Rheumatologists for these symptoms and a positive Anti CCP, Sed rate, CRP, etc I decided to give one last doctor a try, and it was Dr. Pfeifer in Edina. She was very kind, considerate, and attentive. After meeting with me for about 15 minutes and checking me over she finally gave me a diagnosis and HOPE for the future. She literally saved my life, and I cannot thank her enough. Her nurse Liz is also amazing. I’m so grateful!

Awful patient care. Did not explain tests being performed, why they were being performed, or what the outcomes were. I felt uncomfortable and judged from the second she walked into the room.
