Dr. Mandal has it going on. He is the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable, he spends quality time at every appointment going over treatments and setting helpful goals moving forward. I’m more than grateful for Dr. Mandal. He’s also a super cool dude!

Absolutely incompetent doctor. Manages medications poorly. He lied and made things up in my medical records after he was faced with criticism (which I can prove). He also accused me of seeking attention because I struggle with self harm. He cannot handle criticism. He is an insensitive narcissist who shows no compassion.

I’ve seen dozens of practitioners in the last 20 years, and Dr. Mandal is a rarity. When you see him, it’s immediately clear that not only is he a brilliantly clinician, but also an approachable, truly caring, and all-around cool dude. The medical profession as a whole could learn a lot from the colloquial, sapient bedside manner of Dr. M.

When I moved to Colorado from Texas back in January one of my biggest worries was finding a new psychiatrist and more specifically, a psychiatrist that offers ECT. I found Dr. Mandal on my insurance website so I called and made a virtual appointment. I knew within minutes of speaking to him that I was going to like him. I have been seeing him for about a month now and receiving ECT. He is FANTASTIC! He really listens and lets you be a part of the decisions that will affect your health. He is funny, so friendly and he finds common interests with each individual and it helps me feel more comfortable and I feel like he really actually cares about me as a patient individually and I’m not just a slot on his daily schedule. He also, started me on a new medication I had never tried (which is rare) and it made a huge difference in just a week! It is not easy to find a good doctor, but I hit the jackpot when I met Dr. Mandal!
