List of Satoru Chamberlain's Reviews
I had Dr. Chamberlain for my Carpel Tunnel syndrome and also to fix a trigger finger. Both surgery’s were successful and done with precision. I had a very short recovery time and great guidance getting to the surgery. Dr. Chamberlain is knowledgable, professional and is a great surgeon. Both of my surgery’s were successful and continuing to have a great outcome.
After about two years I can confirm his surgery was successful however his communication was poor and his staff were even worst. I knew generally what the plan was, but we were not exactly sure what the surgery would be. By the time of my first four PT appointments they had still not received the details of my surgery. The directions I was send home with were different from the verbal ones I had received leaving confusion to what I should be doing and what I could do. His staff were very short with me and never very helpful. I never received a follow up call from him only his staff who could not answer my questions.
I appreciate Dr. Chamberlain's cautious and non-invasive approach to my injured fingers, as opposed to immediate reconstructive surgery opined by other doctors. Dr. Chamberlain has an efficient demeanor, but took the time to address any issues I brought up. I am very grateful for a knowledgeable, caring doctor and staff. Check-in to exam room was very efficient, but on occasion I would have to wait a few minutes for Dr. Chamberlain,
I found that he uses a conservative and careful approach. He also relies on scientific evidence to determine his treatment plan.
Very quiet, don't know how to read him, very busy man, didn't seem like he wanted me to ask many questions, but was nice and seemed knowledge able, not a chatty Cathy for sure
I had surgery on my left wrist in 2011. He told me removal of a lump wouldn't come back. He also repaired torn cartilage and removed 2 ganglion cysts. For months after the surgery I complained that the top of my hand was numb or felt like I was being stabbed with a fork when someone touched it. He told me it would pass. It's 2016 and it still is that way. The lump returned not even 2 months after the surgery. The severe pain is back now. Seems he lied about most of everything.
I had total confidence in Dr. Chamberlaine and felt he was very thorough in explaining my surgery to me. He is an excellent doctor.
several surgeries with dr Chamber;ain to fix wornout bits. Feel much better now
I have read that the experience in scheduling has been poor for others and I agree; it can be. BUT I also know from many years of experience that everyone involved does the best with what they have to work with! Many reasons effect this issue but the number one reason for this also speaks volumes for the quality. The numbers of patients seen is staggering, simply because the quality of care is beyond excellent. As a patient I recommend having patients because if you want the best, you will understand you are not the only one in the universe and a few glitches are nothing to get the best! I for one have learned to laugh about it all because the whole crew treats you like family and that helps one to see how it can happen and be understanding. And Dr. Chamberlain, special thanks from someone who knows I wouldn't have use of my right hand if it weren't for you! Words are not enough!
I spent 45 minutes in the lobby. When he finally came in, he didn't seem to be able to grasp the sequence of events that had brought me to him, but perhaps he was hurried from being late with patients. He promised that an appointment would be made for me for another specialist, that didn't happen. Two weeks later, I called to inquire. the nurse said she would handle it. Nothing happened for another 3 days, I called again. Nothing happened again for another week, I moved on to another doctor who has been great. Finally, after 4 weeks I got a call to schedule physical therapy! For what? I hadn't even received any surgery, or required prerequisite diagnosis! I can forgive one mistake, but not 5! Avoid, and find better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
