There is not a doctor on site like we were promised. My husband came here and left the same day as he was not getting any care. They stated the doctor was on zoom but they would not get him connected. it was 9:30pm by time I picked him up. They still had not given him any meds nor had a doctor seen him yet. He was flush in the face and shaking terribly by time I got him. My husband stated how filthy the place was. He stated that no on wore a mask like we were required too on the paperwork. The rooms were never cleaned with urine all over the bathroom. You are stuck in a small room with 4 other adults and I small bathroom. They do not check on you every 15 minutes and he even asked one of his roommates why...thus place is a joke. we spend an initial 1500 just to get in along with 250 medical and 75/weekly. He only spent maybe 10 hours here. I am beyond PISSED. I CANT BELIEVE you treated my husband this way and that you called me to try and to manipulate me in to leaving him there when all you did was lie to me.
It was a great life changing place. Great staff and clients!!!!! Thank you Mountain Springs!!!!!
Great place, great people to get your head on straight. If you’re struggling with anything, Mountain Springs is the place to go.
It's chaotic, disorganized, counselors are all over the place, they complain way too much. They do alot of assuming. They report out about the local or Colorado programs, when most clientele isn't from there. The food is subpar. They require a deposit, which they refuse to refund and you feel victimized because of it. Find a place with less turnover in its counselors/staff. I attended June - July 2023. Update after leaving: I finally after 2 months received my deposit. Now I am receiving a bill for urinalysis that they chose to do to me while I stayed there. It was above and beyond what healthcare would pay. The irony is my roommate who entered the facility the same day as I did was never tested once. The twist also is that they have addressed the bill to my ex-wife's name, who I get my coverage from, which I am pretty sure is a HIPAA violation. Are they sending her a bill to her address to let her know I've been to treatment too? 3rd rate facility to say the least.
I would recommend MSR to anyone. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The facilitators were good. My only complaint is the food. It wasn’t good. They have a variety but they need to improve the quality on what is offered
I have been struggling with a meth addiction since I was 18. I've been in and out of countless treatment programs over the last 25 years of my life and nothing ever provided the resources I needed to live a life of recovery, until I came to Mountain Springs recovery. From the group facilitators to the Maintenance, these individuals genuinely care about the well being of the people that come here to get help. They offer Dharma recovery, meditation, Ti-Chi, AA, NA, Smart Recovery, equine therapy, animal therapy, there is a pool, 24 hour nurse staff....and so much more. There are no words to convey what MSR has done for my life. If you're ready to break free from the chains of addiction this is where you want to be. This experience has positively impacted my life permanently ♡♡♡
I (Latishia) sent my husband to you in September because he wanted to get help and was struggling. He was immediately labeled a biker by his looks. His first therapist a young woman dropped him quickly. Less than 30 days in, he was informed that he had to leave, that he wasn’t a good fit with the community. My husband thinks it is because of a stupid argument over feeding squirrels w/ another patient. When I talked to Percy, he said it wasn’t just that but hid behind his “privacy laws” and wouldn’t say. How can you kick someone out without telling him the specific reasons? Addicts can be difficult people and this place should be properly trained to deal with them, which they obviously are not. My husband came home in worse shape than when he left for MSR. Shame on you MSR! SHAME ON YOU!!!
Coming to MSR was one of the best decisions I could have possibly made for my Recovery. The staff honestly care so much about the clients. I felt so comfortable and learned so much during my 90 day stay. I want to give a special thanks to Amanda, she truly went above and beyond for me!
I went here in 2020 and 2022, once for 30 days, and 45 days the second time. I can't say enough good things. This place helped change my life for the better. I have tons of good memories in the short time I was there. Much thanks to the BHT's, nursing staff, therapist's (Paul) and kitchen staff. I would recommend staying off any drugs from the psychiatrist! But that's just my opinion. Exercise, talk to God, and practice what they teach! Good luck and God bless all of you.
May have just violated every ADA law out there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
