I’ve only had one visit so far, to get established as a new patient, but Dr. Copeland has done a lot for me since that visit. Dr. Copeland listens & communicates well. She appreciates patients taking an interactive roll in their own healthcare. She is easy to communicate with through the portal, and has orders tests, labs, and referred me to specialists without having to see me in the office first. I struck out the first time, with a doctor at Grand River Health, who was quite the opposite of everything I said above. My husband and daughter saw Dr. Copland first, so they urged me to change because I was so unhappy. My daughter had changed from Mountain Family. I’m so much happier since I switched.

Dr. Copeland provides excellent care and is very caring provider. It is hard to get past the front desk when returning a call, referrals to other providers or services take a lot of time to come through.

I never got to see the doctor. I spent 20 minutes being bounced around on the phone, being placed on hold over and over again and being reminded how important I am by a recorded voice. when they did get on the phone and I told that person that I was having an allergic reaction of some sort and my throat was swelling shut, the person told me they were all out of appointments for today. apparently, slowing choking to death was something I was going to have to schedule for another day. I went and saw the nice folks at Grand Valley Medical Center. They checked me out, gave me the proper medication, and I was feeling better before I left.

Just don't expect to get any of Dr. Copelands instructions taken care of from the staff. Dr. Copeland will listen and make decisions about your care, prescriptions and referrals, but that is where the care stops. The staff is very negligent about following up with Dr. Copelands goals. It takes weeks and multiple phone calls to get anything done!
