Terrible person. I have been trying to get off a short acting med for anxiety for two years that he prescribed. He then prescribed another med for me to be on while I was on the original med. Come to find out after 9 months of being on both meds he has no plans on getting me on a long acting anxiety med at all. My wife is a psychiatrist and Kevin asked me what my wife would recommend for anxiety. I asked if he was joking and he just stared at me. We come from the suburbs of Chicago and it is night and day difference between the quality of this "doctor" and a doctors near Chicago. In the Chicago area they actually listen to the person that is paying for the service and address their concerns. If you get 3 mins from him that ends up being a lot of time. We will defiantly find a new hospital to work with. I would be amazed if Olathe medical patient advocacy would even reach out to me. What shame to see customer service go this way in a small home town feel.
Dr. Guevara and the staff have always treated me extremely well. I'm shocked to read such negative reviews. I've been with him for about 4 years now and I've never felt anything but cared for. I take daily medication that requires regular follow up appointments and he listens to my symptoms and takes in everything I say. I feel like he and the staff are always trying to get me the best possible results for whatever problem I'm having. I highly recommend Dr Guevara and the staff at St Teresa's
After reading some of the reviews, I completely agree with everyone who has given one star. It's more of lets see what he can get from insurance than the health of his patients. Always wants to brush off what I say I'm feeling, instead of testing or doing more to see why I feel the way I do. Supposed to have complete blood work, oh its in the notes but didn't get put in right. So I have to go back out there for more labs. Not one to care for his patients by any means. Stay away!!!
Doctors Kevin Guevarra has been so kind and caring like NO other. Even with all my crazy issues he has always picked me up and dusted me off. I’m a new man today thanks to Doctor Kevin and his kind and caring staff of professionalism. Thank you for bringing up so that I can show up for life.
Dr. Guevarra has excellent listening skills and has good rapport with both children and adults. He is not arrogant or dismissive and takes the time to understand what's going on with you. His team is quick to respond to questions and concerns.
Dr. Guevarra is another typical modern day young doctor. Dr. Guevarra is all about self and "the system." Dr. Guevarra is young and inexperienced. Dr. Guevarra gives the illusion that he cares, but deep down you can tell that it's just a front. Dr. Guevarra lacks authenticity and transparency. I think he has watched the Ted X talk "Fake it till you make it" too many times. What a shame.
I was VERY disappointed in my experience with Dr. Guevarra. I was told my lab results were "normal" and my symptoms / the way I feel (awful) on a daily basis were completely dismissed as relevant. After this experience, I will not be seeing Dr. Guevarra again and am on the search for a new PCP.
Dr. Guevarra is very, very inexperienced. The doctor as well as the nursing staff are unable to keep a current list of your current, active medications and Dr. Guevarra cares more about collecting insurance money than he does about his patients. You have to repeat your symptoms and your story more than once because the doctor is on his phone googling your symptoms that he actually did hear before you are even finished speaking.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
