Christine Rogness's Online Review Report Card

Since I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2022, Dr. Rogness has been my “go to” person. After 3 failed lumpectomies and a double mastectomy, she and I now have history. She guided me through the whole process and was behind me every step of the way. Dr. Rogness was very honest, forthright, and educated me in terms that I could understand. She also listened to me as an intelligent, thinking person, not just as a patient. I am now cancer free and I know that she is at the top of the list of people happy for me. She is a very busy surgeon, but I have never felt slighted (I do give her grace on timing as I’m sure the person she treats before me needs as much time as I do). As my care goes on, I feel comforted that Dr. Rogness is there for me. She is “my” surgeon from now on. If you are in need, do not hesitate to have her take care of you.

Had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rogness for gender affirming surgery and I can’t say enough about her. So kind, respectably curious and meticulous. I’m thrilled with my results. Post op care was fantastic and for as massive of a surgery as it was, the residual pain I had after was far less than I would have expected. She will go above and beyond for anyone she works with (ie she got my insurance to work with her even though they went out of network 1 month before my surgery) and I genuinely don’t think anyone could do better for any chest/breast concerns :) Highly highly highly recommend.

Dr. Rogness is the most amazing surgeon. The first time I met her I was having a surgery consult and I was extremely nervous and ended up having a panic attack, Dr. Rogness came into the room and sat down and asked me about life and how I was doing and what was going on in my world she didn’t start my consult until she had completely stopped my panic attack and calmed me down. She truly cared about me as a person not just a patient. During my stay in the hospital every single nurse or other doctor I encountered they said “oh Dr. Rogness she’s the absolute best she’s the only one I’d ever let perform surgery on me” and it’s true. She calmed my nerves and performed a seemless and smooth surgery. I felt 100% comfortable with her and my life in her hands. I cannot thank Dr. Rogness enough for making this experience as good as she did.

Dr. Rogness has been amazing. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 33 years old. She is reassuring, positive, honest, caring, and is always willing to answer my questions. I cannot say enough great things about her. In all the crappiness of cancer, I looked forward to my appts with her because I always left her office being confident in the plan we agreed on.

My wife had to have emergency surgery and Dr Christine did hers. Thank you for doing a good job on her. On top of that it was on April 2 and covid was a scare. My wife has recouped and is feeling great. Again thank you!

Thank God there are doctors with the skills, kindness and bedside manner that Dr Rogness possesses. Dr Rogness took the time to truly listen to me share my symptoms. After performing surgery she took the time to visit with my wife and I multiple times. When we thought there might have been a post surgical concern Dr Rogness & Dr Winter both quickly responded to the concerns of the nursing staff. I highly recommend Dr Rogness and Mountain View Surgical. Thank you to the entire support staff of Mountain View Surgical! The entire team is a positive reflection of the doctors.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I quickly found myself in a whirlwind of decision-making. I feel immensely grateful that I found Dr. Christine Rogness. Dr. Rogness has an extraordinarily caring nature, beyond what I've observed with most medical providers. From our very first interaction, she was professional, meticulous in her explanations of my course of treatment, and devoted to my care and well-being. She is an extremely skilled surgeon who goes out of her way to make sure her patients' questions are addressed and to alleviate anxieties as much as possible. Not once did she minimize my concerns. I quickly learned to trust her judgment, her explanations and her skills as a doctor. I found that others on the surgical teams at Castle Rock Adventist and Sky Ridge Medical Center regarded Dr. Rogness highly and praised her abilities as a surgeon and as a caregiver. I also appreciated that she followed my course of treatment even after her work on my case had essentially concluded; she made me feel like I was more than "just a patient," that I and my outcome mattered. I've already sent several other women diagnosed with breast cancer to see her, and my husband sought her out when he needed a different kind of surgery. All of these other patients reported having similar positive experiences with Dr. Rogness. I am grateful that she helped me navigate a harrowing time for me medically and that she was truly on my "team."

April of 2011 could have been my expiration date, but thanks to Dr. Christine Rogness and her professional team I am still here nine years later. Thank you!!!

She is a great surgeon! I’m so blessed to have found her! She did a amazing job on fixing a previous surgery issue, she even fixed the original scaring in my belly button. I will recommend her to everyone!

Dr Rogness was recommended by PCP for my daughter for evaluation to rule out cancer. We saw her and a biopsy was ordered and performed. Dr. Rogness never called to report results of Biopsy. Another Dr in the office was nice enough to report the results (which thankfully were good). Dr Rogness NEVER returned my calls (4 of them) to discuss the results and options for treatment as pain was continuing. I guess because there was no obvious surgical intervention, she wasn't interested in following up
