After being basically brushed off at another facility regarding my inflamed, swollen knee, i went to the ER at SMC in Frisco The entire staff promptly and thoroughly went to work testing, to get to the bottom of my unbearable painful condition. Dr Worrell was assigned to my case. After initial results he was ready to stay overnight to do emergecy surgery on the infected knee that had begun to spread up and down my leg. He did surgery early the next morning to drain flush and explore the damage. It was determined to be Staph after broad spectrum IV antibiotics, He was then able to pinpoint specific antibiotics for the Staph 2 days after the first surgery reopened my knee to ascertain whether the infection had spread. I was released from the hospital after 2 more days and currently recovering at home. His hard work knowledge and tenacity saved my leg and possibly my life. The entire staff at Panorama and St Anthonys SMC were great to work with. I am blessed to have had this care team.

After crashing my motorcycle I wasn’t really feeling like getting poked and twisted by another set of doctors. The E. R. was enough for me. From Dan Thompson (medical assistant) to Dr. Worrell, to the guy that molded my cast to my arm; all were sweet, kind, professional and made the whole experience bearable. I don’t recommend breaking bones but if you do, this is the place to go for treatment. Dan even walked me around to the physical therapy office to set up my first appointment. Most offices would just give you a phone number and wish you luck. Even at my follow up visit everyone was just amazing. They took more X-rays, remolded my cast, made sure I wasn’t in pain or uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I even needed a new note for work to update my restrictions and got that with in a couple hours. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Worrell and the people he’s chosen to work for him. Thank you all!!
