doctor was rushed, mumbled, and rude. He spent about 5 seconds ( I wish you was exaggerating) and gave no explanation about next steps which is a "cystoscopy' If like me you have no clue what that means it's that he is going to stick a tube up my uretha while I am awake and then he is going to do a "pelvic exam" similar to what a gyn does..... To me if someone is going to be in my personal space they can at least take more then 5 seconds to tell me what the heck they are going to be doing soni don't have to figure it out through Google. I am not returning for the scope,I can not justify giving that man any money.

This place is a joke… no professionalism, say they are going to call for appointments and then never call.

He has no bedside manner at all!! I left the office in tears. He was more concerned with the fact I rescheduled my appointment "How am I supposed to stay in business if people cancel" and if I'm going to cancel/reschedule any further appointments "This patient, doctor relationship should end here and now" I'm diagnosed with chronic anxiety and ptsd, this man doesn't know my life. I have 4 children one who is autistic/adhd, I also take care of my amputee/dementia mother, my husband works out of state is gone 95% of the year and if he had taken the time to know me rather than be concerned with his pocket book maybe he would realize not all of us have secretaries and others to help with our daily tasks. I will never return nor would I ever recommend this so called doctor to anyone not even to treat an animal or even a cockroach for that fact!! Dr. Bickel you should be ashamed of yourself and maybe consider a different occupation since you obviously could only care about money and yourself. If I could put no stars or negative ones I would!! I am filing a formal complaint too.

Recommended 4 different tests over the course of 5 minutes, tells me Im "not giving him much to work with" like its my job to figure out whats going on. When I said I wanted to push for imaging, he laughed and mocked me. Doesnt care about you or your health, wants you out the door as fast as possible.

Waited 40-50 minutes past my appointment time. Was told to take a genetic questionnaire and then was given a Pamphlet. When I asked to go over my health concerns a little more I was told "how long is this going to take im backup today and really don't have time. " While I tried to explain my concerns he made condescending remarks rather then offering any helpful advice.

I had a structure in the urethra, a professional doctor would have instructed the patient to have the structure repaired through surgery. Dr. Bickel never mentioned surgery to repair stricture. He said he would cut the stricture to enable the scope to pass to the bladder. All Bickel did was make some money with his scope and did nothing to help with urine flow. I would not recommend Bickel to handle any urology problem...about the only thing he knows is how to use his scope and waste people's time. Do not go to this place....Urology Consultants!

Such a terrible, terrible, terrible experience here. My 95 year mother had an appointment today for a Cystoscope with Dr. Bickel. We arrived for her appointment at 2. At 3:15 I inquired whether everything was okay with my mother since I could see/hear Dr Bickel in his office on the phone on a personal call. The staff informed me she had not yet been seen by Dr, Bickel. At 4:45 - 2 hours and 45 minutes later, my mother still had not been seen and she decided to leave because of a woman screaming from pain in the next surgical room. Terrible. Whatever you do, find a different doctor to go to!! This office should be investigated for malpractice.

Dr. Bickel is most likely responsible for saving my life. He detected a lump on my prostate, which turned out to be advanced prostate cancer. If not for his expertise I would no have known, most likely until it would have been too late.

Dr. Bickel is wonderful. Staff is helpful, friendly, professional. Dr. Bickel is a man of few words but he knows his profession well . This coming from an RN of 42 years. He is kind, gentle and thorough . He sat down with me ,made eye contact, and explained everything to me. What more could you ask for ?

I was in pain for 14 months, it felt like someone stabbing me in the bladder. It caused me to have a heart attack from hypertension. As soon as I find Dr. Bickel he got to work on me . And I feel no bladder pain now. I saw a different urologist before him and I can’t get her to even ordered a ct scan . I am a kidney stones builder , I’ve had 6 kidney stones and 3 surgeries. Dr. Bickel got me a ctscan the day I met him. I feel like I owe him my life because I couldn’t control my blood pressure because of the pain. And the other urologist you just have to take blood pressure medication and pain pills. And she told me to find another doctor. Thank you so much for helping and your wonderful staff.
