At our first visit with Dr. Oliveira (a 2-mo well-child visit), she spent most of the visit explaining to us what a "DO" is. Then, she immediately suggested an elimination diet for me upon initial hearing that our baby spit up while nursing. She was not particularly interested in the baby, nor did she allow time for questions. At the 4-mo visit, she spent no time beyond asking if we had considered baby-led weaning. Dr. Oliveira recently left her NM Clinic, which seemed like an excellent idea given the lack of investment she spent learning about her patients.
