My son had an accident while snowboarding and sustained a bad fracture of his clavicle in Colorado. I was in New York. Dr. Beim was on call for a small hospital emergency room in Gunnison. He ended up going to surgery to have a plate put in and the fracture repaired. Thank God she was there. She took the time to call me throughout the night every step of the way. She was knowledgeable about current surgical standards, a great communicator but mostly she was kind to my son. Her repair was excellent and my son was discharged after recovery. She is continuing his care/rehab. I felt we were blessed she was on call. Having your child across the country and hurt is devastating- she saw us both through the injury. She is the real deal- top shelf provider. Time will tell how he heals but she set him up for success. I recommend her without reservation. We are both so thankful for her skill, training, and her compassionate treatment of us both.

My visit to Dr. Beim's office was as a representative of a young patient who was unable to speak English, frightened about dealing with an alien system, and deeply worried about his injury and his inability to understand the procedures involved. I was deeply impressed by Dr. Beim's ability to assess the injury, and her immediate follow-up work to expedite the highly complex surgery by a trauma specialist uniquely trained for this procedure. I was in awe, however, by her kindness, her ability to explain all the exceedingly challenging ramifications, and to put her patient at ease. Her clarity, and (dare I say in a medical dialogue) sweetness, was extraordinary. The follow-through of her office reflected Beim's gifts, and underlined what a good team can do to render the daunting aspects of a severe medical challenge to human scale, and put a patient on a confident path to recovery. The very best of medicine, the very best of humanity.

Dr. Beim is an amazing surgeon and a kind and caring doctor and person. She offers sound advice and her obvious vast knowledge and experience and upbeat personality inspire confidence. Visiting her office you feel that you are cared for by everyone who works there.

I can't say enough good things about this office. Dr. Biem and her entire staff make you feel like a friend from the second you walk in the door. I have absolute complete confidence in the skill level and performance of every single employee I've come in contact with AND I actually really enjoy "going to the doctor!

Dr. Beam saved me from making a HUGE mistake in my treatment that would have cost me 1,000's of $ and a lost year. She diagnosed my knee problem quickly with unique XRays right there on the spot and outlined several options available to me. She provided literature to help me make choices on my next consult and she exudes confidence, knowledge, skill and she has an INCREDIBLE resume of experience with the US Olympic teams. DR. BEAM ! Five weeks out from a Morton's Neuroma Surgery I am in regular shoes, pain free, and resuming life as I knew it! I followed her post surgery instructions to the letter and had zero pain, very little swelling, and was off crutches in about a week. My recuperation was speedy. I am now ready for a big hiking trip out of the country. The surgery centre and staff in Gunnison were exceptional. If you have a neuroma...see Dr. Beim!

Dr.Beim is an extremely competetent, careful, knowledgeble, experienced orthopaedic surgeon. She listens to her patients and considers the whole person before deciding on a course of action. If possible she prefers physical therapy over surgery. Dr. Beim follows up with patients and genuinely cares about their well being. I have never felt rushed when in an appointment, I feel comfortable to ask questions and to take time to make decisions. The whole staff has made me feel cared for.

Dr. Beim is a wonderful doctor and person. This was my 4th surgery with her and the best yet. Her staff is amazing and great to work with.
