List of James Weingart's Reviews
Dr Weingart is educated and has good bedside manner! He is helping my husband with mild dementia and knows anything and everything about all our medical situations.
Dr Weingart has been my primary care physician for years and is very scientific with his approach to care and treatment.
When I lived in Thornton, my entire family used Dr. Weingart for nearly 15 years,. I moved to Lakewood and it was too much of a commute. I retired last year and not able to find a single doctor that felt as trustworthy, attentive or as knowledgeable. I have since made the decision that it is worth the drive from Lakewood to Thornton. I would give doctor Weingardt himself a 10 out of 10. The staff is terrible. I had some tests done. The call I receive for results literally said your cholesterol is doing great you can stop taking your meds and basically great job. Two days later, a different office personnel called and provided the exact opposite information. (Not good). Same things as other reviewer. Lack of follow-up, not courteous, sat in waiting room for 1/2 for a blood test etc. Staff would be 1 out of 10.
Be prepared to wait. There are signs in the rooms that say, "If you've waited longer than 10 mins, please come and get someone." I've always had to wait 45 mins just to get called back. Also WARNING: If you are getting a referral, they WILL NOT CHECK TO BE SURE THE DR THEY ARE REFERRING YOU TO IS IN YOUR NETWORK! Apparently they leave that responsibility to the patient... without telling them.
james is a Horrible doctor He compares everything to himself I was and am having major memory issues he said it was due to age. When I found a doc that listened I found out I had a stoke and have dementia which might not as be bad as it is now if he would have listened and sent me to a neurologist! My kids came to a few appointments with me and he would tell them the same thing its all was due to age when it wasn't Bottom line this guy is just collecting a paycheck and really doesn't care about patients a good example of this i had something going on that required me to go to a hospital they wanted to check in with him he could looked at the notes and been ready for me that wasn't the case he said he need to look it up and i needed to come back. witch meant another payment to see him. STAY AWAY

I've a patient of Dr.Weingart's for more than 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is very good. His office staff is another situation entirely. The staff changes frequently and the level of courtesy and follow-up from them usually gets worse each time. On many occasions his staff has failed to return my calls and send lab results, etc.
I started seeing this Dr, at the age of 5 years old. I had severe childhood anxiety, chronic migraines, severe fatigue and random vomiting, constant nausea, balance problems, excessive hight growth, menstural problems, debilitating back pain, delayed response times and other odd symptoms. Over the years I was diagnosed with mono (many times), polycystic ovaries, chronic anxiety, manic depression, bulimia, hypochondria, fibromyalgia among many other diseases. I ended up getting my tonsils out for one reason or another at the age of 17 and had to get a brain scan before this could be done. The MRI was sent to Weingart and the surgeon. There was a golfball sized tumor clearly on the MRI, which was not reported by the radiologist either...it just said to follow up. There was no follow up. At the age of 20 my neurological symptoms and back pain skyrocketed and I began having seizures, I finally ended up getting another scan of my brain that showed a que ball sizwd tumor in my right frontal lobe. I don't blame all of this on Dr. W but he should have done a lot more to assess my symptoms in the first place. I have had 2 open craniotomies now and have a stage 3 oligoastrocytoma (brain cancer). I recently had an MRI of my back that also shows a completely collapsed disc. One of the dr.'s PA's had seen a prior MRI at the age of 20 and told me there was nothing wrong. I will be getting surgery on my back in 1 month and I am only 22 years old.

I was only a patient for a few months and I was extremely frustrated with the service provided. Both appointments I had were "delayed" by almost an hour each then another hour or more in the room itself. I was not impressed with Dr. Weingarts general attitude as well, he was very condesending and dismissed all my concerns without even checking anything. He was a total jerk and made me come in, pay a $30 copay just to tell me something he could have over the phone. Needless to say I have not returned and when I e-mailed them to say I was no longer going to be a patient no one even responded. Total lack of patient concern.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
