I waited over two hours to see Dr. Petrina, who was in a pretty big hurry to get through with my visit by the time he spoke with me. He immediately thought my continuous shortness of breathe and chest pains for 5 months were "stress related" instead of considering other important possibilities first. I have since found that my symptoms are GI related, no thanks to his advice to see a neurologist (way off base) and have more unrelated tests done at my great expense and waste of time.

I have no affiliation with Dr. Petrina and I'm sure all of the reviews I have read are accurate. I have a friend who has been seeing him for over a year now. My friend is very ill and after every visit with him we converse about the appointment. In my opinion, he knows what is wrong, but doesn't know how to fix it. So he keeps rescheduling Dr. Appoinments and in the meantime my friend is geting worse. I feel he is over his head and needs ask for help before its too late.

Mistakenly assigned to a different doctor, but the nurse and office team worked with Dr. Petrina to eventually have him see me. He read all materials relevant to my situation, listen to my needs, and provided a plan (medications, rehab, etc.) that already helped me greatly.

I would recommend Dr Petrina to anyone who needs an excellent cardiologist. He is very thorough. I've been Dr Petrina patient for almost 2 years and I feel better now then I have in years because he knows what he is doilng and what medications to use for my condition I am very grateful he is my doctor

I met Dr. Petrina when my husband was ill, he was compassionate and caring and showed him kindness and respect during the last days of his life. I am now a patient of Dr. Petrina's and I can honestly say I trust his experience as a physician and have no doubt I am receiving the best care I can get.
