North Denver Endoscopy Center's Online Review Report Card

My wife went in for a preventative colonoscopy that was covered by insurance, the billing department sent the wrong code to the insurance provider and sent us a bill.qe contacted the insurance provider they said have them send them the right code and it will be paid. Their lazy billing department wouldn't help us but sent it to collection. What a scam. Avoid this place unless you want to get screwed over !. No one will help you if you have a billing issue.

Everyone was so nice. The whole experience was simple and great.

very bad attention I waited almost 2 months for my appointment when I arrived They canceled my appointment for stupidity they did not want to schedule another appointment saying that the doctor no longer wanted to see me I felt desciminated and going to seek help to file a complaint

I look my niece in for a colonoscopy, she is 22 and has been going through some rough medical issues the past 3 weeks, everything was going great until they look her back. When she went back the dr was incredibly rude and treated her like she shouldn’t even be there, questioning her and accusing her of things. When she was brought back and still very much out of it he came and said they found nothing and that what the other drs have told her was wrong and she was fine. Then rushed off. Once she came to she wanted to talk to the dr her self, when he came in he was extremely rude and not helpful at all basically calling other drs liars and being extremely forceful in his words. My niece and I left feeling completely mistreated and belittled. We will never go back to this place and will be filing a complaint. No one should ever be treat the way my niece was today. The dr should be ashamed

I went to have a colonoscopy because said my Blood sugar was 330 so after all that prep sent me home. Ten minutes away, so I checked and was 205. No way 125 difference happen that fast or my B's checker is off that much. I will never go back, nurse was rude. I will find another place. Hopefully gives better instructions.

The nurses and doctors took us that day were nice. However, when I had questions and issues that needed helped, I got transferred to a scheduling lady that was extremely rude and yelled at me on the phone. She kept yelling, "don’t do this, call someone else, I can’t help you and don’t know what to. It’s not me to handle this". I understand that the previous line could’ve sent me to the incorrect dept but literally YELLING TO MY EARS and hung up was rude.

I see the other reviews but I gotta give them 5 stars. The staff was wonderful (Shout out to nurses Madonna, Lakeesha and Kim) and the front staff. They couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Now everyone must understand there is a shortage of nursing staff post Covid. I actually had an extensive conversation with them about this. That has slowed things down BUT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. It's industry wide. I did have a longer wait than I expected, but trust me, they were as professional as they could be. And, being my first colonoscopy, I asked a LOT of stupid questions and they took time to answer them all with a positive friendly demeanor. So, that's my take.

I really wish I have read the reviews before I scheduled my procedure. It is like the Walmart of surgery centers. The rooms are NOT private. There is just a curtain around the area. I could hear everything the patient next to me was saying, as well as what the nurses were saying to her. I'm sure whoever was next to me heard all of my private health information, as well. I had a procedure done at this facility in June. I had a question on my bill and had to fight to get an answer for 3 months. No one answered the phone. No one returned my calls. Finally got an answer and paid the bill on 9/8. They have no record of the payment. I keep getting bills sent to me. It's apparently "under review" now, after I had to call and ask about it. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. I will never have any procedure done at this facility again.

Contrary to many of the one star reviews, I had a relatively good experience here during a recent medical procedure. Staff was pleasant and efficient, facilities were clean. Overall I was treated very well. Billing issues may or may not be pending... we'll see.

I had an excellent experience for my colonoscopy. The scheduling was easy. There was no bill or copay since it was a routine screening. Check-in was easy. My nurse Jim was OUTSTANDING. The tech, the nurse anesthetist, the anesthesia gentleman, and Dr. James Higham-Kessler were all top notch. I couldn't have been happier with my experience and I thank you all so much. I'll be back for my next screening.
