I came to the ER here after getting awful care twice from the ER center at a different hospital. Dr.Trommeter and RN Jordan were amazing. They did everything they could to bring me comfort and to help give me relief. After suffering for 3 days before seeing them , they were literal angels. They were kind, compassionate and very professional. If I would’ve known North Suburban had an amazing staff like they do, I would’ve came here instead of wasting my time going to the other hospital. They took wonderful care of me and sent me home feeling better with supplies I needed to continue to feel better. I would definitely recommend coming here. Huge thank you to Dr. Trommeter and RN Jordan. You guys are amazing.
Have you had a good experience at previous birthing places? Have you never been treated like a criminal for attempting to stay with your baby post birth in the NICU? Was your birth not a nightmare for all involved? Well then this is not the place for you! This is the place you come to for a guaranteed traumatic experience. If you’re interested in embarking on a journey that will surely end in years of PTSD and countless months of therapy to work through your emotions of feeling powerless and empty against a big giant hospital gang of heartless directors and honestly the most revolting night nurse teams, then look no further: you’ve come to the right place. The night nurses are spectacular here, you’ll love it. One placed a feeding tube in our baby without our (her parents) permission, and another called security when we asked to have it removed - SO KIND! Then later, after the mother - a good mother who already has two healthy children at home - was escorted from the premises and banned from the hospital - called patient advocacy services for help to come back to the hospital, to breastfeed her healthy full-gestation newborn that is only in the NICU for oxygen support to aid in expelling the amniotic fluid that remained trapped in her lungs after a short and complication-free vaginal delivery - was told to remain calm, as the father was still allowed in the hospital. What a relief! The dad could stay and what, breastfeed? Pump? So helpful. Truly, the BEST place to deliver and most amazing resources for patient advocacy. If all this sounds good to you, you’ve come to the right hospital. Deliver here, 100% dissatisfaction guaranteed.
While there are a few very kind, intelligent, caring and helpful nurses and maybe 2 Drs, this hospital is a joke! They pump you up with pain meds and send you on your way. No explanation, not caring if you're actually feeling better or doing any better. It took me 2 weeks to get admitted and they barely gave me a diagnosis and still sent me home saying pain is inevitable.
Please don't go here as the doctors are trash and don't care about you. I am saying this as a prior "patient" of theirs and a witness to how they have treated others. Tonight out of desperation a friend of mine went there after his knee went out of socket while working a construction site. His knee is swollen and he cannot bear weight on it. This same person has a high tolerance for pain and avoids hospitals/doctors (I wonder why) He was told he would need an MRI, but they x-rayed him. Then the wrap that was around his knee was removed and most likely thrown out and he was given a new wrap to put on himself after they "discharged" him. Why would a doctor do an x-ray for bones when an MRI would be needed to identify the damage to tissue? Money. Next, why would a doctor remove a wrap to do an exam, but then not bother to replace it? They clearly recognized the need for one by sending him away with one, but couldn't put 2 and 2 together reapply the thing they had taken off. Also, this "hospital" sent him away with a lower quality wrap than the one he entered with. This is one of those hospitals where it's possible to come out in worse shape than you went in. I am sure the bill for this "treatment" will be around 10K. He was treated by Carly Loner who is supposed to be reaching out, but I know that communication will be pointless. Just don't go here... I have yet to have a good experience with this place it may as well be the DMV.
Facilities were nice, clean and orderly. Personnel were courteous and pro

Excellent service
Thank you for your time, and medicine💙 Everyone was very kind and respectful.
Each part of the staff from the minute I walked in was extremely nice and helpful and understanding. I HATE hospitals but they made me feel comfortable and helped me through each step
Go to any er but this one if you're hurt.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
