Hello. I am a past patient of Dr. Gustafson. I dont know if he remembers me, David Moore. He treated me for a rheumatic aortic valve for some years before I had an aortic valve replacement. 21 years have come and gone and would like to let him know I'm still going strong. Thank you Dr. Gus, I think of you often and pray the Lord is blessing you and yours.

Horrible. My mother saw this Dr.3 years ago due to SOB and congestive heart failure. He said she was fine and needed to go home from the clinic he was at. Thank god both myself and daughter were there because she went home that afternoon and arrested. She came back after CPR and a portable defibrillator. They rushed here to the ER and guess who walked in, we told him in no uncertain terms he needed to leave. We found another Dr. and she lived 5 more years with proper care. I didn't find him helpful or caring. He was very "Sweet" when he spoke but never let us get a word in he talked about things he thought were cleaver and never allowed us to interrupt for a question. He may seem sweet but beware he knows how to act the part but it's not genuine.

His main focus is not letting you get out of the exam room without ordering some high dollar test. He spouts off about why the testing is needed and is completely off base when it comes to appropriate use of these tests. It's all about doing a test of some sort. I went elsewhere.

I just want to say that the care which I received from Dr. Gustafson enabled me to still be here today. He kept me and my condition a priority whenever I had to see him. When I decided I needed to take the next step, he whole heartily agreed. He never pushed me. Always allowed me to be in on the decisions regarding my care. He encouraged me when he felt I needed to advance in the care of my heart. It has been 18 years since I had my valve replacement surgery and I'm still going. The Lord know who to bring into ones life and at the exact time need. I thank you Dr. George. Don't know if you remember me, but I will always remember you. Bless you and yours. Dave Moore. I don't know If you know the Lord as your savior, but if you do we will meet again.

Dr. Gustafson is so relaxed, cool, calm, and collected. He really spent time with me. Sat down, pulled up a chair, and spoke to me In a manner I can understand. He is soft spoken, but is heard and understood. When this crash he seemed to be right their. He is an amazing physician. I am so great full for his expertise, advice, and all he did.

When a patient calls they need to follow up, and do so at the number requested. Not wait a week and a half to call you back, if you're calling it's for a reason. Not act like you are wasting their time.
