Dr. Garlitz saved my wife's life back in April 2009. Shortly after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. He did the initial surgery to remove the cancerous tissue, and because of the decisions he made that day, she is cancer free and doing great.

He literally saved my 88 year old mothers life 3 years ago when she was 85 years old ,because the other surgeon she was seen by was afraid to help her due to her age . Dr. Garlitz gave her her life back . If i ever need surgery he will definitely be my very first choice as besides being an excellent surgeon , he is a very kind compassionate personable human being . This glowing review was more than deserved by him .

I had been seen for a week at the hospital by another surgeon and did not like his prognosis so I left the hospital. Two weeks later, close to death, I returned and refused to have the same doctor see me. I chose James Garlitz to replace him and I have never regretted that decision. He cared about me, he did a follow-up surgery, even now, six years later, his staff still remembers me! I got hugs when I left, told that their prayers were with me, and I couldn't ask for more from my surgeon and his staff! He was able to do what the other surgeon said was impossible and it worked!
