I hurt my knee 6 weeks ago & have been having a hard time walking since. Acupuncture was suggested to me as a way to help, but I've never done it before & wasn't sure what to expect. Anna did such a wonderful job easing me into it, always checking to make sure I felt safe & comfortable, and really listening to my symptoms (better than my own primary doctor did). I especially appreciate that she showed me how the needles work before using them so I wouldn't feel nervous. Our session was an hour long and by then end of it I was able to walk better than I've been able to in weeks. I like that she explained to me what she was doing as she was doing it so I could learn more about my own body. She also gave me practical guidance about how to continue caring for my knee. I'm so glad I found The Prickly Mermaid & highly recommend Anna for anyone wanting an empathetic & nurturing approach to healing those lingering injuries

Anna is a force of light. Her knowledge of woman's health is astounding. I went to Anna due to chest and lung congestion. When I first met her, she used dry needling on my chest. Instantly, I felt relief as crud and energy broke apart. I continued to see Anna for allergies. What I found is that she helped many facets of my life. My menstrual cycle became more in sync and less painful. I slept better at night. My digestion was better. Anna helped regulate all of my systems. While working on my physical body, she was able to help me navigate the emotional issues that arose. She is a gift! I highly recommend Anna Francis!

Anna is amazing! She is extremely knowledgable and kind. She asks the right questions to understand what is really going on and how she can help.
