Richard Lawley's Online Review Report Card

This was my first appointment with Dr. Lawley and found him to be a kind and caring physician who took the time to discuss my knee problem and listened and answered all my questions. He explained my condition and how to proceed and to set up another appointment in a month if my condition persisted. I appreciated that I didn’t feel rushed and explained the ultrasound he did on my knee. He wrapped my knee up and said if I had more questions to feel free to call the office and check back with him in a month if my condition still persisted.

Dr Lawley was very helpful and answered all questions in a way I could understand. He was very kind and compassionate as well as professional.

Dr. Lawley was professional and personable. He explained everything he was going to do (cortisone shot in hip) and then he did it quickly, competently and painlessly.

Dr. Lawley and his attending nurse, Nikki, are a wonderful, caring, and professional team. I was in a great deal of pain in my right knee caused by a hormone suppression drug prescribed after breast cancer surgery and radiation treatment, Dr. Lawley reviewed X-rays of knee, consulted medication reviews of side effects my medication could have, and did an ultra sound of my knee. He found fluid had built up in my knee and could be some of the cause of my discomfort. He proposed draining the fluid and injecting a steroid that would help with the inflammation and thus the fluid buildup. He was confident that one steroid treatment would take care of my problem and pain. I am almost back to my normal self. I was able to feel the change in my pain level before I even left the doctor's office. I can't thank Dr. Lawley enough for the time he took to explain everything to me and to my husband. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lawley!

I have had plantar fasciitis and ankle discomfort for over 6 years. I have seen a few physicians and done PT for this problem. On my first visit Dr Lawley actively listened to my comments and gave them consideration. During the visit, he found fluid in my ankle. He was the only physician I have seen who explored a new approach. I am grateful for his astuteness and expertise.

Dr Lawley was thorough and spent a long time during the ultrasound and diagnostic explanation. He is very polite, a great listener, and very interested is new techniques.
