Very honest. Does not rush into surgery.

I HAVE BEEN TO 7 DOCTORS AND NONE GIVE ME THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AS DR.LELAND DID. HE HAS GIVEN ME MORE CONIFIDENCE WITH MY HEALTH ISSUE .. I WAS ALMOST READY TO GIVE UP AND HE RESTORED MY FAITH IMMEDIATELY.. ALL THE OTHER 7 DOCS WERE MISINTERPRETING MY PROBLEM .. WHAT A PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR AND THE AUTHORITY AN KNOWLEDGE HE HAS.. GUARANTEED HE IS SUPER SONIC.. I NEEDED DIVINE INTERVENTION WITH MY HEALTH ,,HE GAVE IT TO ME .. I WILL BE BACK AN I RECOMMEND YOU TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS A DISTINGUISHED DOCTOR AND SURGEON.. I had a great outcome from a broken ankle. Dr Leland was easy to work with and very informative. His office is well run, nice staff.

So glad I found Dr Leland! I put off bunion surgery for years but it was finally getting too bad to ignore. Surgery is scary for me, but I was very confident in Dr Leland and his friendly team. The Lutheran surgery center receptionist, nurses and anesthesiologist were also excellent: capable and kind.

Dr Leland really took the time to explain what was wrong with my ankle & all of my options to deal with it including doing nothing. Showed me exactly what the procedure that would be doing entailed. Did a great job with the surgical procedure. Everything is healing nicely.

I was seeing 10 minutes earlier. Dr. Leland was very kind and seem to be very knowledgeable. I would definitely go back and see him, and would refer him to other patients.

Dr.Leland performed a total ankle replacement on my right ankle February 1st 2023. I’m seven weeks post op and am doing great. I’m walking pain free and even riding my E-bike. Dr. Leland answered all my questions and concerns and I felt comfortable with him. He and his top notch team in the operating room and in the office made the whole experience great. Very professional! If you have ankle pain or have been told you need surgery I highly recommend that you contact Dr. Leland to get an expert evaluation.

I saw Dr Leland 2 times - once 3 weeks after a severe sprain and fracture in my ankle and again almost 4 months later when the pain was still there and no further improvement from PT. At my first visit, he actually said if it hurts don't do it and come back in 6 to 8 weeks if it still hurts. I requested PT and did that for 2 months. On my second visit, he took additional xrays but did not comment on them or the PT, and did not offer any help. The next day I went elsewhere for a second opinion and the fracture still has not healed after 4 months, which he did not note after the xrays, and the ankle needs surgery to stabilize it. I will not be going back to him.

I had emergency surgery on my elbow after a bicycle accident. Dr. Leland was the surgeon on call and I am very happy he was. He was very supportive during the healing process (I broke my pelvis, too) Appointments were efficient and staff was phenomenal. Shout out to Kerry for scheduling hardware removal according to my limited schedule. After the removal of the hardware six months later, my elbow is strong and as good as new just one month after surgery.

Dr Leland has a keen eye, he was able to see what was missed and point me in the right direction. Unable to walk and being in constant pain, he found the cause, asked for more detailed tests and recommended me to Therapy and continued care. It is a long road, but every positive step helps.
