In 1999 this Seropian saved my life. 1516 years later went back to YNN (now SMILOW) to this Seropian. In the lobby the blackies drugged my coffee. Seropian was the WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. He did not order a VERY CRITICAL BLOODTEST FOR ME. I WAS TOLD IT WAS AN ERROR, IT WAS NOT IT WAS INTENTIONAL, PREMEDITATED. TOOK 2 WEEKS AND TRAVELING 2 HOURS TO HAVE THE CORRECT BLOOD TEST DONE. THAT IS WHEN I OBTAINED ALL OF MY RECORDS FROM YALE AND WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. IF YOU WANT TO LIVE DO NOT GO THERE.
Dr. Seropian exceeds all expectations in the “usual” categories one would hope their caregiver in such a typically lifeordeath set of circumstances would have. Where I found him to stand apart from the rest is a surprising, confidence inspiring, mastery of ancillary care options in unforeseen eventualities. I had no ability to research a “transplant teamlead”. My treatment required a secondary, tertiary, and quartienary care options; Dr. Seropian thoughtfully considered the best path for me.
I was very disappointed in the lack of any bedside visits to my husband after his transplant went bad and he was readmitted to the hospital for veno occlusive desease. I have a lot of unanswered questions.
Dr. Seropian was thorough in his explanation of my condition and the treatment options. He was very encouraging and made me feel at ease. He took his time and did not make me feel rushed. His associates and staff were also very courteous and understanding. Dr. Seropians treatment plan has worked to my grateful satisfaction. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Seropian to other patients in need of his skills.
