Caring, kind Doctor who listens and helped me with treating my Acid Reflux without pressure or rushing me.

Dr. Schwartz is possibly the best Gastroenterologist I have ever had, which is a shame because his staff is utterly incompetent; At best his prescriptions come in the day I run out of pills, and the longest it's taken to refill has been over a week after the last pill has been taken.

All I can say is the level of care shown by this practice is a 0. You are treated as if you're just another number and they couldn't care less about your ailments. Very sad and unfortunate.

Dr. Shwartz and his staff have been wonderful. I have been his patient for 2 decades. He is proffessional, knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and thorough. I have never had an issue with the healthcare I recieved from him and would, and have recommended him to others. I know him to be a doctor of the highest caliber, and his staff is proffessional and caring as well.

Never on time, told he was supposed to come to speak with us but waited hours & got no where , I would never recommend this doctor or this hospital again.

Is it possible to give no stars? Dr. Schwartz performed a EGD and a colonoscopy on my father. During the procedure, they found he had stomach cancer. No only did a secretary give the results to my mother, upon needing further diagnostics as well as a referral to the cancer center, Dr. Schwartz and his office have not contacted my family with the results of the PET scan in over a week! THis despite my father calling daily to try to talk to the doctor. THen the medical assistant called my mother on Friday afternoon and lied to her, telling her that the doctor would call this weekend to discuss the results. When she just called Sunday morning, the answering service informed her that the doctor does not make calls for diagnostic results on weekends. THis man has caused my family a huge amount of additional stress with this diagnosis and the waiting. Despite that fact that now there has been over a week delay in initiating treatment planning with the oncologist. Absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would not recommend this doctor or office at all.

I understand that offices are hectic, doctors are busy, and there is not enough time in the day to see everyone, but I have rarely dealt with an office as unprofessional and disrespectful as this disgrace to the medical field called a 'doctor's office.' The first time I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Schwartz I had to wait over a month to meet with him. After waiting this time, despite constant stomach pain, I drove an hour to his office, only to be informed upon arrival (though not until I had already completed the paperwork) that Dr. Schwartz was not available for the appointment. In fact he was not actually in the office, nor was there literally any other doctor there who could see me. I accepted this to be what it was and scheduled an appointment for the following week, informing the staff at the time I made the next appointment, that I would not be able to leave work early, and thus might be late. Upon arriving at the office today, albeit 15 minutes late as I had informed them I would be, having rushed out of work, driven an hour, gotten stuck in traffic and spent another $10 in gas, I was informed that Dr. Schwartz was not in the office and had in fact gone home for the day. I can't report on the actual doctor himself, as I was never given such a pleasure as actually seeing the purported man, but I can say that I am absolutely disgusted with the way in which I was treated by the staff, office, and the general disrespect for the patient in general. I can't say what should be taken out of this, besides the fact that surely you can find a better gastroenterologist than this atrocity of an office.
