Steven Bond's Online Review Report Card

My first visit after a fall and injured my shoulder -that visit was fine. My next follow up visit was not good. He obviously had the wrong chart because his statement to me was "it says here you have a pacemaker" which I said no , I think you have someone elses' chart. He ignored me and from that point on my visit was very quick. I will never go back to him! My feeling was he could have just said "I must have the wrong chart and I could accept that!

Horrible Doctor stay away. Would not send me for MRI sent me for physical therapy. Went for second opinion major tears in shoulder needed surgery . Horrible Doctor Stay Away. I should have sued him in court. JM

7 and 6 years ago I was operated on by Dr. Bond. I could not be happier with the results. I've since had other medical issues that warranted looking at my shoulders as the cause of the problem but was told by multiple orthopedic surgeons that if I hadn't told them that they had been surgically repaired they would have never known because they were anatomically as close to perfect as it gets. My shoulders now are completely stable and the surgery has held up very well. Two other family members have also received shoulder surgery from Dr. Bond and they're holding up well also. I've had to contact the office multiple times to request my records for new specialists as well as to ask for prescriptions for non-ergonomic devices needed for work and they've responded quickly and without fail even when I hadn't seen them in years. I am a person who has difficulty trusting doctors and Dr. Bond made me feel at ease. I would absolutely do it all over again.

Went to Doctor Bond for shoulder pain and he was able to both diagnose and gave me timeline for when surgery would be required; spent time to describe the situation and diagram as well as explain all options.

Misdiagnosed severe pain, never followed up. Fortunately found another doctor who correctly diagnosed and treated.

After a positively horrible experience with a botched surgery from another Dr, I went to Dr Bond. He not only was knowlegible and professional, he was able to repair the problems to my shoulder and restore the use of my arm. I did not experience any of the issues stated here except for one time hearing his assistant on the phone with an irate person. She was courteous and patient while trying to deal with the person on the phone. I think the comments listed before are more about some patients unreasonable expectations. Dr Bond certainly met and exeeded my expectations and I would recommend Dr Bond to anyone.

Went in extreme pain, could not sit at all. Was kept waiting (standing with walker) significant amount of time. Had minimal examination while I was sitting in chair. Never on exam table, his hands never touched the area of pain. Sent for MRI. Told over phone diagnosis was "wear and tear" have physical therapy. No follow up appointment made. After NO RELIEF primary sent me to pain specialist/anesthesiologist who gave thorough examination, reviewed MRI and said I had pyriformis syndrome, gave me injection into area and I left his office better, and in two weeks was walking, without walker, without pain. (See Dr. Weaver). I would NEVER return to Dr. Bond.
