Ronald Buckman Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to this practice since I was a teenager. The service and level of care has steadily decreased. Today I Had an appointment for 9 AM which is when the office opens I was put in a room waited for almost 40 minutes then when the APRN finally came in she was rude and short with me, talked down to me and treated me like I didn’t matter. I left the office in tears. I have been going to this doctor’s office for more than 30 years for the first time in 30 years I will be looking for a new doctor this was an awful experience. My issue is not with Dr. Buckman but with the staff and APRN at the office

I've been going to Dr. Buckman , for it seems like 20 years. He has always done right by me. He tells you how it is. Straight to the point. I have always enjoyed his office staff. It was always nice to see Julie and her smile. There was one that was pretty rude, but I no longer see her their. I like a doctor to tell me the truth and get to the point. That' s what they are there for. It is also nice to have a lab in the office to draw blood. Saves a lot of driving. He is an all around good guy, and a very good doctor.

I payed 400$ in cash for a visit a few years ago before I had good insurance. A year later I was billed the same amount and told I never paid. Shame on me for not keeping a receipt for a year. I paid and was upset. Later talking to a neighbor, he also paid a strange bill from Buckman’s office a year after a visit. I left a review then and recently noticed it was removed, so I am writing it again. Stealing 400$ from me when I could I’ll afford it still doesn’t sit well with me. I have great insurance now but will not be going back to Buckman.

Great knowledgeable, efficient Doctor, friendly staff, clean office and didn't have to wait a long time to be seen. Highly Recommended!

Patient care has declined steadily.

My husband needed a CDL physical for DMV. We used to get them at the Colchester immediate care center, and they no longer do them. They were rude and told me to call places in Norwich, which was not convenient. I found Dr. Buckman on the DMV website. The receptionist Julie, was so cheerful when I made the appointment and was sensitive to when he needed the physical for DMV requirements. I went to the appointment with my husband, and everything was WONDERFUL. They all did a professional job while being very kind. We both liked Dr. Buckman, he was extremely thorough, very efficient and his nurse was an absolute sweetheart. We are both hoping they stay on the DMV approved list for physicals as we would love to continue going to them. They were all just the right amount of friendly yet professional.

Dr Buckman has provided 3 generations of our family with exceptional, compassionate care for over 30 years. The nurses and staff are professional and caring. Highly recommend!

Horrible doctor who misdiagnosed a family member that resulted in their death.

I have been going to Dr.Buckman for over 30 yrs. And he was my children pediatrician and still their Dr. . When my children were infants and sick. He would call me after hours to check on us. And his staff is awesome !

Dr Buckman has been our family's doctor for over 30 years. A true caregiver. 3 generations of our family trust his years of experience. Thanks
