Dr. Christine Kennedy's Online Review Report Card

I had a terrible experience and will not be returning. Staff are rude and the doctor isnt much better. Felt like a number and a dollar sign. My wishes were not even considered it's her way or no way which was a huge red flag as that's the lat thing I want on delivery day. I found her to be very unprofessional in our meeting as well. She completely ignored my partner and was extremely late for the appointment time but that didnt seem to matter that I should still get my 15 minutes with her instead she was extra rushed so she can make up for it. She very much is a see as many patients as fast as possible to make the most money sort of doctor.

Wonderful doctor who took extra time to address my concerns, called me for follow ups after my appointment and worked with me to manage a challenging situation. Would recommend to anyone managing post partum challenges, she could not have done more to assist.

Worse Doctor, have not helped at all. Not carying about patients and help them when necessary.

Dr. Kennedy cares, is brisk but thorough and friendly. Will stop and answer questions and ensure the answers are understood and adequate. I am always on time and have rarely waited more than 5 minutes. The staff is busy, efficient and gets the job done, although I do wish they'd let you breathe between walking in the door and taking blood pressure readings. Been going to this clinic for almost 30 years, wouldn't change, even for a shorter commute.

The staff is organized and thorough. Dr. Kennedy, herself, rushed me through every appointment, brushed off every concern, and had a manner of "sympathy" that felt false and condescending. The office is very up to date on some evidence based practice, such as flu and tdap vaccination recommendations, and very behind in others, such as pre-e screening and knowledge of VBAC risks. She will, hurriedly, answer all your questions, but you need to know to ask them as she doesn't tend to ask you anything beyond "how's it going".

Dr. Charlene Kennedy was my doctor with my first pregnancy and actually got to be on call to deliver him which was amazing. We moved to the very north end of the city but I have asked to be her patient again with my second pregnancy because she is such an amazing doctor. I drive an extra half hour just so that I can continue to see her. I find that I am never rushed during my appointments and she is great about explaining things in detail and answering all of my questions and concerns; she is extremely knowledgeable. The staff at the front desk are busy but I find they are polite and extremely helpful; I once missed an appointment and I called to apologize knowing I'd be charged but there happened to be a cancellation that day so they moved my appointment without consequence which was very nice. I have also seen other doctors at the clinic while Dr Kennedy is away and they also had fantastic bed side manners and were very helpful and knowledgeable. All the doctors at this clinic genuinely care about you and your baby and it shows. I would recommend Dr. Charlene Kennedy to all of my friends and family.

I have had Dr Kennedy for all 3 of my pregnancies, she has been my boys and my doctor for 13 years. She is a very caring knowledgeable doctor that has helped us through tough situations the last 2 years I would be lost without her. She has taken the time to answer my questions and helped me deal with my anxiety as well as my sons anxiety over his health scare two years ago. We booked an appointment with her after we couldn’t get in to see the hematologist for months and she took the time and answered all of our questions didn’t rush us helped us understand and we left feeling much better then when we went in. All of my boys love her and she treats us like she really cares about us I don’t feel like a number or a crazy momma who is constantly worried after our scare!! The receptionists are a little rushed but have always taken the time to answer my questions. We have seen other doctors in the clinic when Dr Kennedy is on vacation or fully booked and they have been just as caring and knowledgeable. We would recommend this clinic and doctor to anyone.

I have been a patient with this practice for over 22 yrs and I'm shocked by the lack of professionalism, care and concern for clients over the last several years. the reception staff is RUDE, arrogant and abrupt. My appts with Charlene are always rushed, we are interrupted by other staff during appts, follow up is none existent and I now feel like a number and a like I am hassle or inconvenience to staff including Charlene for test results or support. Such a shame as this office and ALL staff use to be incredibly supportive and kind

I feel that the staff are rude and abrupt. The appointments are rushed. I’ve had 2 babies and for each I had another dr deliver. What a disappointment

I agree that the appointments can feel rushed, so you have to advocate for yourself. You just have to ask her to explain or ask questions and she takes the time to answer. If you don’t, she assumes everything is fine and just measures you and sends you away. She took time to address the passing of my mother and made sure my mental health was OK through the rest of my pregnancy, which was appreciated.
