I would like to know on Dr Minotti's 5 star ratings if they are family members? This Dr. is one of the worst individuals I have ever met in my life...You can't fit in a room with him...his ego takes up all the space. He cares about no one except himself...Save yourself time look elsewhere. He is not that great of a surgeon in the end. There are much better out the research.
"If I could give negative stars I would. I wouldn't have him take care of my dog. He is the most condescending egotistical human being I ever met. He's all about the money, after your surgery, he makes like a tree and leaves. I personally was in the Griffin Hospital for what was suppose to be a overnight. Ended up being 5 days. I ran 104 temp consistantly for days. Not a peep from him HE WAS MY SURGEON. HE TOOK AN OATH!!! I had an infection somewhere in my body...No one cared except for 2 nurses and 2 aides. Don't even get me started on Griffin Hospital. The staff called Monday's, Just Another Manic Minotti Monday...All about the money and ZERO patient care. His office assistant was another peice of work, Kim. After i was released from the hospital 4 more days passed and I still ran a 103 temp, called the office, thinking my SURGEON should be made aware, here is a woman who talked to you until the cows came home PRIOR to surgery making$$$ for Minotti, she had the audacity to say"What would you like Dr. Minotti to do? You should contact your Internist! REALLY??? .Today I wrote them off...a year since my surgery, and I decided to see one of his fellow physician coworkers. I needed to make sure everything was okay and instructions which I never received by Minotti. I would say RUN from this Doctor. He is not fit to hold M.D. After his name let alone a surgeon. He was a mechanical engineer prior to being a physician...I say return to that, something that has NOTHING to do with human beings. He is despicable. Absolutely has no right to call himself a Physician. If you ever watched his TV commercials...or heard him on the radio and know what I know, you would want to vomit."

Dr. Minotti did a great job 3 years ago. The choice for the other hip was simple, Dr. Minotti. He explained the surgery and left his office feeling good about my decision.
Dr Minotti is very patient with you and explains anything you want to know about your condition.
During my appointment with Dr. Minotti all my questions were answered and information was provided to me. If I have any additional question I feel confident that I can call the office and my questions will be answer.
Dr Minotti was thorough in his examination, explanation and analysis in this first visit. He administered the cortisone shot professionally, kindly and with care.
I was dreading a second knee operation for a long time, but with Dr Minotti, I feel I have other options to persue. That made my day! And the Dr treated me like a person, rather than just as a patient!
Dr. Minotti and his staff in the Westport office were a pleasure. I Was pleasantly greeted and taken at the time of my appointment.Dr. Minotti took his time explaining to me my diagnosis and treatment options, at not time did I feel rushed. I would recommend Dr. Minotti and this practice for your Orthopaedic needs.
Dr. Minotti and staff did an excellent job right from the start. The experience I received was friendly and very professional!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
