Dr. Arlis-Mayor was wonderful and took the time and care to thoroughly go through my situation and made sure that I was comfortable and that everything going forward with my treatment was based on my plan and what I want. She also explained exactly what was going on with my shoulder in a clear, easy to understand way and gave me a few good options going forward. In addition to that, the discussion about my injury and the path going forward was and felt like a two-way discussion, which made me feel better about the options I have and gave me freedom to choose a path that will fit in with my health and athletic goals. The staff were also great, and I think this was the quickest I've ever been able to get into an appointment and then have a discussion with the doctor, and on top of that, there was imaging done. So it speaks to the efficiency and process that the staff have. the care and time taken to listen to my thoughts and concerns detailing the injury along with the time and care taken to both answer questions and have a two-way discussion on plans going forward for the injury. It makes the patient feel more like a person who has a say in their health and that the plan going forward is something they want and that is going to fit in with their health goals.

Dr. Arlis-Mayor was very attentive and kind. She helped me with my concussion and also was able to refer me to a physical therapist that will further help me with my injuries. I would highly recommend.

This doctor laughed at me, implied I was exaggerating my symptoms, and did not order sufficient diagnostic imaging. After years of being in intense pain, I was able to find doctor elsewhere who correctly diagnosed the torn labrum in my hip.
