List of Adam Bard's Reviews
Every visit turns into a multiple visit to generate income. Bills for tests that are not done. Only concerned about his financial reimbursement. Staff is rude, nurse practitioner is not knowledgeable and doctor seems disinterested in medical outcomes. Don't have your health and well-being depend on this medical practice. Has lost tons of patients over the last year. So desperate to make money that he will do dermatologic injections also.
If you enjoy being treated by someone who is solely motivated by financial gain than this is the place for you! As others have said, Dr. Bard clearly got into the medical field to make money. Everyone has their priorities I guess. I would honestly prefer someone who cares about patient outcomes rather than lining their pockets. I would attest to all the financial reviews others have posted given my experience
Excellent experience with Dr. Bard and the office. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Bard answered my questions and offered solutions. Recommend!
I regret not taking the advice of people here who warned us to stay away from this practice. They are mostly interested in over charging anything they can to your insurance. They will try to take your blood even knowing it would be cheaper for anyone to just go to Quest, which is just a floor below. Also, after your regular yearly checkup, instead of giving you the usual prescriptions for 12mo, they MAKE you to come back in 6mo in order to renew a prescription that hasn’t change in over 5 years! And, the last straw for me was that I had a yearly checkup scheduled and they tried to make me come to fill out wellness forms, which were not mandatory by my insurance (but they obviously wanted to charge for it), and since I declined to do it, the RUDE manager cancelled my appointment without notifying me! AND this spineless doctor wouldn’t take my call, and according to office staff, he sided with the rude manager. I’m so glad he’s no longer my doctor and I don’t have to deal with his RUDE office staff (the manager is the worst!!)
If you enjoy meat market type of handling and enjoy paying people then this is the place for you. There is no other motivation at Dr Bards office other than getting paid. Go elsewhere if you desire a modicum of humanity when ill. I find it surprising he is so well rated on this site and my assumption is either (1) Dr Bard was good at some point early in his career or (2) he takes some of that sweet cash his patients provide him to pay troll farms to highly rate him.

Awful doctor/staff. My father has a terminal illness and the first thing they ask is about insurance and wanting to see him in person during COVID. They do not care about patients or emergency needs.
The worst dr! He’s horrible and only cares to bill your insurance for things that are not even done in the office. They make you come in for bloodwork and bill your insurance for an office visit. Make you fill out wellness forms and charge your insurance for it. Everything he does is a money making move! He’s a fraud! Stay away from this practice!
The way this practice is run is extremely concerning for a physician. If you call after 5 there is a voice mail that takes no messages and tells you if it’s an emergency go to emergency room or call office the following work day. Many times when calling the office during the day the phone can ring for over twenty minutes with no one answering. I was happy with Megan the physician assistance as that’s who Dr Bard turns most of his patience to but most of time I can’t even get her because if the red tape trying to get through to leave her a message. The one out of 5 stars is giving is correct. I was given this Drs name a year ago as I just moved back to Ct and in need of an MD quickly. I am currently looking for a new one but right now this practice is a total nightmare. Unless you have no other alternative until you find a better Dr and have a long wait time to transfer stay clear away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
