Francis Alcedo's Online Review Report Card

Expect NO personal attention IE "how is it going, family doing well, weather is kind of nice" anything that puts a patient at ease. It hello, he reviews anything on his screen and BAG look you over says a couple word, hands you a sheet for test if required and out the door. He will never be personal unless you make a mistake. I have been with this practice since 1980 and I am sorry to say (and maybe) it was just a bad day or busy, but I think Im older as medicineis changing.

Very cold and little to no interaction on our first visit. I am not expecting a hug or much, but for a new patient a Hello how are you doing. I guess I expected a 2 min introduction. Very cold and after being a patient on this group for over 30 years & up until this last visit with D.A. they made me feel good, trusted and at least part of the group, while I was there. I do not know what my choices are and one is to find a new doctor. With all honesty I would not recommend this MD.

Doesn't have much of a bedside manner. Was quick to pawn off a simple ailment to a specialist.

My father is a patient of doctor Alcedo's and when I go to the visits with him, Dr. Alcedo is very rude. He lacks sympathy, empathy, personality, and basic listening skills. I am not even the patient and already feel defeated when I go to a doctors appointment with my dad, I can only imagine how he feels. I do not recommend! I have been saying for years I would switch my dads doctor but I am Actually going to do it because he deserves better.

It almost seems as if Dr. Alcedo doesn’t view his patients as people. He talks down to you and lacks the listening ability to hear anyone but himself. Very cold personality! He just wants to get you in and out! Please consider before you select him as your Doctor.

Can definitely count on dr Alcedo car for needs of his patients

This doctor is not only rude and cold-hearted but from my experience he does not seem to care at all about his patients well-being. The first time I met Dr. Alcedo I was in the hospital and he made me stop in the middle of showering to talk to him. He was so rude that while I pulled on my pants with soap still in my hair he was banging on the door telling me to get out now. He spoke to me as if I were inferior to him and did not even answer my questions. The next time I saw Dr. Alcedo I was in the hospital again. He suggested I had an illness that I was not tested for and that did not fit my symptoms. He also refused to release me from the hospital when I was able and ready to leave to go to an extremely important work meeting, because the results were not in for a test which I had already undergone 4 times with the same results. I would not recommend Dr. Alcedo to anyone.

He is a good doctor but lacks warmth with patients (and I noticed coworkers). I am not sure if this is a cultural thing, but was a little disappointing.
