In the beginning I did like Dr. Kaplan. However after my cataract surgery my eye has never been the same. Years later it still feels uncomfortable and a little blurry. And yet every time he examined me post surgery he would say, "Perfect". Not so. And I told him at the time. And one time he spoke to me as though I were a 12 year old. And since I am an adult woman, in my 70s at that time, I found this very offensive. There is NO way he would have spoken to an adult male that way. Of course I changed Ophthalmologists.

He is a great surgeon I would give him a 10! Just had both eyes done with great success. He is friendly, kind, caring and funny. His staff is great and even his staff at the surgery center were kind and careing they all did a great job.

Dr.Jeffrey Kaplin is an excellent physician I was referred to him by my wife who works at Pearl Vision in Fairfield. His skills are excellent spot on #1 his manner and compassion is wonderful and confident in his hands as a position his staff in the office is bar non amongst the best experience I have received in a medical practice. I would be happy and very comfortable recommend Dr. Kaplin and his staff to anyone I know .

Dr. Kaplan was recommended by the late Dr Phil Falcone, who has been treating my diabetic eyes and keeping my vision alive for years. When it came time for cataract surgery he sent me to Dr. Kaplan. All I can say is these two guys were cut from the same cloth. My highest praise of the doctor and all the staff. Class act!

My mother had both eyes done by Dr. Jeffrey Kaplan for cataracts, which came out great, and she recommended I see him for my eye surgery. He did my first cataract surgery on my right eye in October of 2013. The eye was foggy and hazy due to the cataract and I couldn't wait to have it done. He did my left eye this March 2019. They both came out perfect!!! At 65 years of age, I have 20/20 vision in both eyes and with the multi-focal lenses I DO NOT NEED GLASSES ANYMORE!!!!!! My sight is sharp, colors are beautiful and crisp, far-sighted, near-sighted, peripheral, and everything in between perfectly in focus with the multi-focal lenses! Thank you Dr. Kaplan! Dr. Kaplan is a highly skilled surgeon with a wonderful personality, funny guy, and a dedicated, caring doctor who wants only the best for his patients and that is to see perfectly again. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan and his very capable and friendly staff for your cataract eye surgeries. Be glasses free, get the multi-focal lens!!!

I went to see Dr. Kaplan because I was told that he was the best eye surgeon in Connecticut. I went in with very high expectations..........I was not disappointed! My wife will be seeing him next! Alex Gonzalez

There should be 6 stars for Dr.Kaplan. I recently had my cataract surgery performed by this kind , compassionate and friendly surgeon. I always feel well cared for every time I see him. And especially during the days of both of my surgeries. The entire office staff Is delightful. They always have a greeting and a smile. And are eager to answer my questions. I am blessed to be one of Dr. Kaplan’s patients.
