Kenneth Lipow's Online Review Report Card

Dr Lipow and his team are exceptional. My dad suffered a TBI 12 years ago and he knew exactly when he could not survive without a decompressive craniotomy. He visited my dad often and unlike the first doctor who wanted me to let my dad die, dr Lipow surgery then and later with skull flap was amazing. Even though my dad had to relearn so much, he was right in saying he would improve over first 2 years. We have been blessed.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lipow and his staff. After multiple inconsistent doctor results Dr. Lipow found metastatic breast cancer in my bones and has since been an incredible helpful guide. I highly recommend him as a sensitive, caring And truly compassionate individual. A rare gem in today’s world! Gina Barra Faccio

Excellent surgeon who is very caring and professional, He took excellent care of me.

Cervical spinal fusion done 2019. Surgery a failure, no concern for patient. Found a wonderful new surgeon at Yale. Another surgery and after over 7 hrs of repair, found out that spine was in the process of collapsing because no framework had been inserted to support spinal fusion. Plus the fact that the hospital overdosed me and had to be given narcan.

I was referred by another physician who couldn't perform surgery since she didn't take my insurance. It was a hassle finding parking and having to visit Zimmerman at the hospital. I Spent 15 minutes filling out the endless pile of forms and then another almost 20 minutes waiting (nobody else was in the waiting room). After all of that, Dr Zimmerman spent less than 5 minutes with me, didn't do a full exam and completely discounted what the previous doctor had told me. In my opinion he was rude and arrogant. .. As I was walking out he tells me he is moving to another practice and I will have to schedule any additional appointments with the new group. ... I'm going to find someone else entirely. This was a terrible experience.

Dr. Lipow is a great doctor. He has performed surgeries on my father, husband, and I sent a few friends to him and they all rate him a 10!!! Not one issue with any of their surgeries. He is the best I know.

Dr.Zimmerman is an outstanding Doctor. He has treated me with the up most respect and care. If your looking for the best back surgeon Dr.Zimmerman one of top surgeon in Fairfield county and possible New Haven Country.

Outstanding physician, but by far the worst billing practices I have ever dealt w/ and I paid my portion according to our agreement, in full prior to the deadline. I received threatening notices, however disregarding our agreement. Based on this, I wouldn't recommend this physician which is a shame b/c he literally saved the use of my leg, but the stress his billing department puts you through isn't worth the trade-off. Granted, physical therapy following surgery and lots of hard work paid off, but still there's no need for that type of aggressive behavior.

Dr Lipow performed a spinal stenosis laminectomy and fusion without metal splinting, using the bone removed from the vertebrae.
