List of Bristol Health Medical Care Center's Reviews
Kathy was extremely friendly last week at the MCC Riverside blood lab. I had my results the next day and my Dr called with the results. I highly recommend this location.
Excellent Hospital with very Helpful and Friendly Staff.
I went to the appointment but they told they rescheduled it as doctor wants an hour long appointment but mine was scheduled for half hour so they cancel the appointment. I was left voicemail just two days before the appointment. I didn’t receive any message of cancellation .but earlier I got a message to confirm and letting me know that there will be $50 for no charge. So I confirm in message and planned accordingly and reached on time just to hear that they have canceled the appointment and had left a voicemail but no message reply to what I confirmed. The worst part is at the front desk there were two nurse who were rude and instead of explaining the situation they were straight looking in to my eyes with anger and rage. I don’t like the way they treated me and the little reason they told me for which they canceled my appointment. I will change my primary care and never go back they. If you want a welcoming and supportive schedule system then definitely avoid Bristol are primary. It is worst !!
DONT GO HERE!!! one of the WORST places to go for medical specialty groups. went up to the person at the front desk, who usually gives directions, and i said i have an appointment with the hand surgeon, and she said “i can check you in here”. cut to forty minutes later, no one’s called my name and a nurse appears saying she didn’t know i was here because the receptionist put me in as a no show. the doctor assures me this charge will be taken care of. i go in a few weeks later for another appointment, and when i go to pay my co pay, they say i have a 50$ charge. then this other receptionist said she didn’t know why my doctor said this as its a billing problem. i call billing, and low and behold, they say there was a policy change and billing doesn’t handle this and i have to go back to the office. i go to the office and a new receptionist tells me her supervisor isn’t here and she’s the only one with the authority and that is have to go back another day between certain hours. the next day i go back at said hours and get told she’s in a meeting. ALL FOR A BS NO SHOW CHARGE FOR AN APPOINTMENT I WAS THERE FOR. fix your office. employees should know all policies changes.
Recently I had my surgery and I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Kamakshi Vemareddy, a skilled and reassuring presence throughout my Myomectomy surgery and recovery. Her expertise, along with her empathy made all the difference. To her incredible team and the nurses who cared for me day and night—thank you. Your kindness, patience and dedication never went unnoticed. Recovery isn’t just physical—it’s emotional. And I felt seen, supported and safe. For that, I’ll always be grateful. Thank you 🙏
i would like to say that i have known aylissa brown for sometime and i have to honestly say that she is one of the most awesome doctors that i have had the pleasure of taking care of me in a long time. she would always take the time to listen to all of my concern's and how i am feeling about my own health. she really does care a lot about the people that are entrusted in her care and she has done a great job. i was ask'd what i thought of doc brown i would always say oye she is tough. lol she would tell me when you have 3 kids you have to be tough. i have very high respects for doc brown and i do wish her the best of luck to and a safe travel to her new job is going to be, i know that she will do an awesome job as she has done here. good luck doc. sincerly angelo hawley p.s: i would also like to thank Mandrapilias, Alaina Erini, MD for going above and beyond her job discription in helping me with getting my power chair and also helping me with dealing with eversource electric company, she has done an outstanding job with out her help i would have not been able to get things done as fast and as quickly as i have been able to do with out her help. i have only know here a very short time and in that short time i feel like i have known her for many years. i can honestly see why she has choosen her profession to be a doctor because she really cares about people and enjoys taking care of them and giving something back. i wish her the best of luck to where her next place that she will continue taking care of people. good luck doc. it has been a real pleasure working with you. you are a real credit the profession of being a doctor. angelo hawley
Just read the majority of one star reviews and then the generic response from Bristol Health... It says it all. Do yourself and your health needs a better sevice by not using this organization.... I have been a patient with this entity in some form or another for over 15 years and have seen the steady decline .... Unfortunately I would say do to the fact that these organizations take over all operations of medical practices in their area, it will be a hard finding an improvement, but you have to try. Remember to be an advocate for your own health, because these people are not.
Extremely poor experience as brand new patients. Don't waste your time. Also, whomever is copying and pasting the response to call the Customer Care Line.....they don't call back or fix anything. I have never seen a facility get so many one star reviews. Do better Bristol Health for our community!
Now after reading reviews I'm afraid to book an appointment what has happened to the medical field
I was referred to Dr. O'Shea in orthopedics by Bristol Hospital and my insurance. Saw him once about knee pain, told me to get an MRI, which I did and had to drop off the CD to his office, and haven't heard anything since. Called twice and left messages, no return calls. Tried to call a third time and could not get through. Really bad customer service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
