List of Angelo Ciminiello's Reviews
Dr. Ciminiello thoroughly explained my issue with treatment options, including PT, outcomes, and exercises to do at home. All was done in a way I could understand, and in a personable manner. I would highly recommend him.
Total piece of garbage through and through. Was floated through providence college just like he was floated through medical school and residency. Just like sucking off your coaches makes you a baseball player, doing the same must make you a doctor. BACK TO SCHOOL, 'godfather'.
I had torn my ACL and to say I was nervous about having surgery is an understatement. Dr. Ciminiello made me feel comfortable and was transparent about all of the details of the surgery. Not only did he take the time to explain everything, he also took the time to listen to all of my concerns; especially my main concern of developing a DVT post surgery. He coordinated with my hematologist and made sure everything would go smoothly. I am so thankful for his professionalism and expertise. The surgery was a success and the post operative care has been amazing. I am beyond thankful for everything Dr. Ciminiello and his team at Ortho Connecticut have done for me.
Had shoulder orthoscopic surgery on a torn labrum. Was my first surgery and I was very nervous about it. He answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process including recovery. My shoulder feels better now than it did even before my injury and I own it all to Dr. Ciminiello. Highly recommend him.
No, I would not . I made 4 appointments to see Dr. Ciminiello & the first 3 times I was relegated to his Physicians assistant which delayed my getting a correct diagnosis which caused me to loose over 4 weeks of work due to excruciating pain. When he did finally see me he showed very little compassion or concern.
The years of Skiing, running, and sports catch up with in your 50's. Dr. Ciminiello understands active people and their needs to continue sports. I am knee pain free and my snowboarder accident that tore my rotator cuff is better that pre accident. Setting out for another season in the Rockies with my first Fourteener climb of Grays and Torres this year. I highly recommend this Orthopedic group. ...
Personal the scary part of needing surgery are the unknowns so information is crucial. Dr Ciminiello took his time to explain every detail of my rotator cuff surgery with a positive energy that gave me real peace of mind. After surgery he also spend a great deal of time going through the surgical photos to explain his work and what he had done. His positive energy left me with a absolute confidence that I’ll soon be back to a normal routine. This same positive attitude was preset in everyone person that I had interactions with from my first appointment through surgery to the first post surgical visit. As a family we have had many interactions with this entire group over the years and I can say truthfully your in good hands. Thanks Doc and everyone involved! Your all awesome people!
Dr. Ciminiello is a very skilled surgeon. He is very attentive and caring. I had 2 knee surgeries and both went exceptionally well with minimal pain. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
I first wanted to start off by introducing myself. I’m a 17 year old junior athlete who has been going to Ciminiello for years. From my broken toe, to broken wrist, to my sprained ankle he’s fixed it all; including surgery on my brothers collarbone, my mothers rotator cuff, and my sisters ACL, meniscus, and cartilage.I recently tore my ACL (every athletes worst nightmare), during my first lacrosse scrimmage on the Ridgefield High School Girls Lacrosse team. I was completely devastated and knew my season was already over from the start. I made an appointment with Dr. Ciminiello and after a few visit and a MRI we prepared for surgery on May 6th, 2021.As of today, May 14, 2021 I’m one week post surgery and already ahead of recovery schedule and walking. I had many people recommend I go for a second opinion with different doctors, but I knew I was in the best hands possible with Ciminiello.I truly have never met a man who entirely loves everything about his job more than him. From watching my whole family impeccably recover from their surgeries, in my mind he was the best doctor for this operation. Not only is he the top doctor in the OR, but his bed side manner is outstanding, as well as his entire staff. When friends asked who was doing my surgery and I’d say Dr.Ciminiello they’d respond, “Oh he’s the best. What a great doctor!” Trust me, I know! I can go on for days hyping this man up, but I don’t have enough space to write. All I have to say is he really cares for his patients and knows exactly what he’s doing.
I have had great experiences with Dr. Ciminiello and his team. Definitely recommend!I had ACL and meniscus tear and Dr. Ciminiello did a phenomenal job with the surgery.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
