Dr Johar took great care of me. She is a skilled surgeon with exceptional bedside manner. She went out of her way to help me. She is generous with her time and talent. She healed my eyes, for which I’m eternally grateful. I strongly recommend her.

Dr Johar is exceptionally accommodating and easy to talk with. She takes time to interact, is very competent and trustworthy. She performed cataract surgery and lens implants which were highly successful. I strongly recommend her.

Please be forewarned and read google and yelp reviews of this facility. As witnessed by others, the staff is a major issue here (untrustworthy and incompetent) and worse yet, the doctors here aware and have done nothing about it. I showed up for my appointment 2 days ago only to be told that a receptionist had cancelled my appointment without telling me and no one understood why (other reviews state the exact same issue). I returned today and was seen by the wrong doctor even though I had specifically stated I was there for a certain procedure several times. I was told by the manager that I would have to come back yet again and that I would have to pay for TWO exams, because both of these doctors were insisting on getting paid for their time although nothing was accomplished, and it was a complete waste if my time. No apologies, hard to believe.

I brought my 86 year old mom in for an eye exam, and after looking at my moms eyes,Dr. Johar suggested that we immediately schedule a date for cataract surgery. She said that the cataracts were VERY bad. The was a lot of pressure to "book" the surgery now as they were booking 2-3 months out. We decided to "think about" the surgery, and left. When I called Dr. Johar a few days later to ask additional questions, I never got a return call. P.S. Mom does NOT have cataracts.. per 2 other docs!!

Dr. Johar recently performed cataract removal/lens replacement surgery on both of my eyes. Pre-op, in simple layman's terms, she explained the procedure and discussed the possible limitations re: "perfect" results given my acute myopia. Post-op, I had a few days of blurred vision due to corneal swelling and her follow-up was superb. She was accessible 24/7, scheduled extra visits to monitor progress and modified post-op drops protocols to accelerate recovery. Practical and competent!!
