Very intelligent, but also very rude and insulting. Staff was very icy. The forms your need to fill out are copious , and repetitive. Felt like a final exam, and then the doctor didn’t look at them. I guess he’s as good as any, since today most doctors have no humanity, time or interest.

Dr Gala is a works class doctor. He has the rare combination of being a brilliant Surgeon without the typical arrogance but rather with true compassion, humility, excellent bed side manner and an open mind. I was dealing with severe chronic pain & I felt heard & cared for . He gave me the space to make informed decisions in my own way & in my own timing . He partnered with me in finding my way out of CRPS ( a debilitating chronic nerve pain syndrome) . I am eternally grateful that Dr. Gala is an integral part of my team . Thank you for helping me get my life back ! I recommend Dr. Gala without reservation.

My appointment consisted of being shamed about my weight---in several ways--- and my looking at a blank face as I explained how I felt and asked questions. It was as if he couldn't have cared less about the patient in front of him. I felt judged and it was a very unpleasant experience overall.

I highly recommend Dr. Gala. I was suffering from a very painful condition. After trying the standard remedies with very temporary results, it was determined that I needed spine a somewhat complicated surgery. The results exceeded all expectations. The recovery went well and quicker than anticipated. Six weeks later I can go on with my pain free life. I am very grateful to Dr. Gala and to my Primary care doctor because she recommended Dr. Gala to me.
